Fall Line Tuning and Repair Centre

Needed junior skis waxed. Young guy at Fall Line did it in fifteen minutes, while we waited. Granted, maybe we got lucky and they weren’t busy, but for the service and the price (<$20), to get my little tyke gliding again, impressed me (my 9 year old didn’t complain about his skis any more for the rest of the trip). I’ll return because we ski Sun Peaks every year, and probably get the full meal deal on my two planks.

I rented an enduro bike from Elevation and Fall Line was supposed to set up the suspension and have it ready upon pick up. What happened was Elevation said they had 2 small enduro bikes so I booked one. However, the next day when I picked up my bike, Fall Line informed me that there was a glitch in the system and all they had was a kids small enduro bike. I’m short and it fit, so I took it. That’s fine, no big deal. However, after a few laps I realized the suspension wasn’t set up for me. I was barely getting any travel on the front suspension and had to bring it in TWICE during my time there to have it adjusted. On top of that, the dropper post lever was loose and kept moving around and the right and left brakes were not evenly aligned. I think what happened is at last minute they realized they didn’t have a bike for me that I had booked and then tried to gear me up with something that worked but didn’t take the time to adjust the suspension. The good news is when I did bring it in both times for adjustments, the guys were super willing to help me out, especially the second time around when they really took extra time to make sure my sag was set up right (getting on and off the bike several times and making adjustments). Finally, my fork was dialled and I was able to enjoy the rest of my ride. I know it can get hectic at times but in all fairness it was a super slow day, barely anyone on the mountain, and I just feel the bike should have been set up proper for me from the start. On the other hand, when I came in with the issues, they had great attitudes and super keen on making things better. Also, Elevation geared me up with a sweet deal a few days later when I booked again. I told them what happened and so on this next booking I didn’t have one single complaint or issue. Clearly the crew is talking behind the scenes and taking action to make things run smoother. Awesome! ?
