★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I injured myself last week while fishing and was not able to put my fishing gear away. Marina staff noticed my gear sitting in the open and because they knew I was injured they secured it in the office.
Great service. What more could you ask for?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The docks are well maintained and the staff is so helpful. They're always checking lines and letting moorage clients know about anything amiss. And the location can't be beat - easy access to explore the Ballenas-Winchelsea archipelago, and only 10-15 minutes to great fishing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kind of a mess right now due to construction. Not a lot of parking, especially for trailers, so be early if you're launching. New bridges to the docks are lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were sailing from Nanaimo to Pender Harbour on July 7th when we were caught in unexpected high winds and waves. We turned around near the Ballenas Islands and made our way to the closest safe Harbour. Kudos to Juan and the crew for helping out and giving us a safe place to stay for the night!
