Most terrible financial institute I had ever experienced. Sending packed bills with hidden different due dates, and charge for high interest. very unprofessional, with lots of discrepancies in one bill.

The absolute worst place to get a loan. Even if you pay on time, they call your place of work relentlessly and they are combative if you object (Even though they know it's against the law if you request that they stop). And yes, they change the payment amounts and schedule with no warning. And even if you are able to get them to stop phoning your work, they will phone you relentlessly even if you're not late (It takes forever to get an online payment acknowledged there). Plus the nuclear interest rates. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I literally don't spend a day regretting my decision to deal with this kind of bottom- feeding scum

When I went into the branch I was greated with warm smiles and helpful attitudes. I want to give an A+ for the service but my biggest issue was lack of attention to detail. I had an associate who seemed fairly new but I'm all for helping with a learning experience. I mentioned multiple times the dates I wanted my loan to be taken out so that I am able to budget properly. We spoke about this numerous times. So come the date of my request and nothings taken out of my account. I waited figuring maybe it would be taken out double the next month so I prepared myself for that possibility. They took it out on the dates I specifically told them not to because I have 3 other payments that come out that day. After emailing 2 weeks ago I have yet to hear back. In my opinion this is extremely unprofessional to go against the customers specific requests. So now since they are not returning my emails I have had to change other payments to come out different days and pre-pay for this to happen. In the end its causing a very large inconveinence to me.

I've had a few loans here over the years and will NEVER be back. They take advantage of people with low credit with these insanely high interest rates. They send you mail constantly, asking you to borrow more. If you ask for the letters to stop, they will, for a month or 2 and then they start sending them again. I've asked over 10 times to stop receiving their mail and I still get it. And to top it off, they don't report your payments. I've been to the bank twice now and the first time they told me no payments have been reported in 7 months, the second time, no payments reported in over 3 years.

My interaction with my loans' agent, Gurleen, was an outstanding one. She let me know what to do every step of the way. Gurleen accepted my documents via email, which was very convenient, explained each detail to me and didn't move on until I understood. She showed me benefits I missed on the website: 50% discounts in restaurants, museums and theaters. Vacation packages, free unlimited roadside assistance (even AFTER my loan is paid off) free locksmith services and a host of others. And, perhaps more appealing than all the above, she had a terrific sense of humour. She put me at ease from the start. No fast-talking sales pitch. No strong-arm techniques. Instead, a sincere attempt to help me secure the loan I needed. I am sad to say that I had never heard of Fairstone. But, I would encourage anyone to seek their counsel when you need a little extra help. Sincerely, Jim

Pretty brutal transparency, and zero accountability. When you ask a simple question, their only response it "it is our company's policy" and they don't work with you to understand their reasoning, nor do they wish to understand your needs unless you fit their exact target mold. Strikes me as predatory, looking for the right level and type of desperate. Unfortunate.
