★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BMO is a NO GO. They are a horrible bank which denied I cashed a check then claimed they mailed it back to me and did not. Now I owe them 800 dollars. Bullshit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical banking experience that you would expect from this third world country. Terrible customer service and very primitive banking options. Also you cannot withdraw a small amount of cash from your account without several days notice. Worse than the banks in Russia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok so I mean it's great that they've kept this historic building but how come the tellers aren't on the main level and are underground instead? They've got this beautiful building but yet people don't get to see it? Makes 0 sense if you ask me

Unfriendly and incompetent.
Went in to get my student discount applied, find out later it was not applied. Had to go in a second time.
Bank card was stolen and 3 charges were made before I cancelled the card. I went in, filled out a form and was told that I would hear back. 3 weeks later, I called the toll free number and find out the form wasn't even submitted.
Will definitely go out of my way and go to a different branch going forward!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apparently, BMO does not give secured credit cards to natural born Canadians. If we were newcomers to Canada, we could get BMO secured credit cards. Unfortunately BMO chooses to subject us to discrimination based on where we were born. I can't imagine what their justification is for this discriminatory policy. We'll see what the Canadian Human Rights Commission has to say about that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could just go to my bank, bmo and have my needs met without being treated differently because of my skin color. I feel so unsafe to even speak to the managers, or anyone in charge there. I cannot have my needs met at this bank because I'm a visible aboriginal.
