Don't bother complaining to head office about how you are treated at certain locations (cough *Midnapore *cough). They do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but reply to my emails stating they are looking into it and that's only when I have to reach out yet again and two weeks later no outcome. They hope I just give up so they don't actually have to deal with me. The company as a whole is useless, horrible customer service both store front and head office. They don't even try to fix problems on their end. Trust me, don't even bother trying them, run! Use a tanning service from a sketchy looking van, in a seedy area and you will get better service than Fabutan, I guarantee it! I wish Google had the ability to give negative stars because that is what they deserve!!!!

I've been trying to reach someone about a very concerning situation I experienced at the Northmount location in Calgary and I've been given the absolute run around. First, the location doesn't give you contact info for the manger or anyone running the place so you have no choice but to direct your attention to head office. You send an email to which you get no response and when you call the number provided an recording gives you their hours and directs you to a voicemail that isn't even set up. So, in a nutshell, Fabutan offers ZERO customer service and has no intentions of holding employees accountable for their poor service. The idea that this type of failure is acceptable and still exists in 2020 is laughable in a sad way. I'm sure I'll get the same cookie-cutter response that other poor reviews received from these jokers. Just a follow up: It's been a week and as I suspected I received the same auto response email and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been done. How a company gets by with such poor service is beyond my comprehension. Seriously, do better.

The location I live in is on Sierra Morena Blvd SW. There was no notice of them closing I bought an extra package which she stated was a promotion. Now they have closed with no notice, no notice on the door. I am now out over $200.00 dollars. Also, I forgot my googles went back with 2 minutes, there were no other clients in the location and was told there were no googles left behind but I could purchase another pair from her. Lying, thieving individual. It would take me a bus, C-train then another bus to get there plus if a friend drove me it will incur another cost for parking. What a rip off. Was told no refunds are given. I am on a disability pension. Thanks Fabutan you have proved to be no better than other tanning places that took off during the night. Was told they could not give me the name of the owner as it is not their policy. My advice would be to go to Goodlife. Very friendly, clean and they do not take money from your account during covid. Membership is on a month to month basis and very cheap

I have been a gold member for over 25 years and since the covid 19 I have been unable to tan. They were closed down, then they supposedly contacted all their gold members to let them know they were opening back up but restricted hours. Wish I would of got that email! Also they have no problem taking your monthly fees, but no services! Now I have canceled my membership permanently at the beginning of August as this company cant return calls when customer would like a rebate for Aug as I haven't been able to tan since March! But they sure make sure that they get their payment, services or not !!?

does anyone even work in the head office? they never answer the phone, but will respond to emails with no help whatsoever. Do better.

I am being threatened with collections and legal actions over an issue that has nothing to do with myself. It is an internal systems issue where as your account is transferred without your knowledge by simply visiting a different location. 5 1/2 years later, the new owner is demanding payment for an account that I was completely unaware of. $134 is not the issue. It is how these charges were β€œmade up”. Tried to resolve with the owner, no go. Just kept saying this was my fault. Head office....well, well spoken but the words were simple. Sorry, not our problem.

The shadiest business. Am owed over 500 dollars and am being completely ignored. Worked long hours with no breaks. Everything in the studio is falling apart

The only reason I posted 1 star is because there's not a no star option. I'll try and make this short. I cancelled in Feb with the a staff member and confirmed with the salon manager on Feb 28 (my last day). Well charges were taken off my CC for March and April. After numerous attempts to get refunded, I was told by Helen, the Calgary manager at Head Office, that it will be refunded. I had to go in person, on my day off, to get some sort of response as nobody answers the head office phone or returns messages. That was a month ago. Still waiting.....I have emailed Helen...no response. The worst customer service I have every encountered!!! How hard is it to refund what you took??? Or respond to a message?? God knows they can't be that busy as they never answer their phone. Ugh!!
