★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For many years this has been our go-to grocery store in the area.
But during the pandemic, the lack of respect for public health mandates has been obvious. During the peak of the fourth wave, customers are walking around without masks with no one saying a word.
For this reason, we won't be supporting this location with our business anymore. Shop elsewhere.

They put old gray/brown meat under and red meat on top to make it look good lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store follows the policy of you bag your own groceries. To me, seems like the Extra Foods in western Alberta follow this trend. Not all extra foods do this. The other grocery stores bag for you. The price difference is just not worth the waiting in line for a checkout and then packing yourself. Trade off is just not balanced enough. They usually have only 2 tills open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A huge thanks to the cashier for going to grab something I forgot -she was AWESOME!!!… There was no one behind me-at the till … unbeknownst to the cashier, I had fallen a couple of times, because I’m a klutz like that, and it’s been difficult to get around, so I had politely asked for help, and she came through, thank you~beautiful-sorry, I forgot your name , but was shopping on Friday(around 4ish)…
