★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this sushi place to you. The food was fantastic! I had the Mommy Bento Box. The Teriyaki Beef (with added rice), Gyoza, salad, Misso soup and 8 California rolls were so good. It was tons of food. Service was excellent and fast! Price was acceptable. I’d be happy to eat there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't let the humble exterior fool you, this is the best value sushi in British Columbia. Super high quality at super low prices for sushi. "Chef Dad" is the real authentic deal, and the kids are alright. Hidden Gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty small sushi spot, mainly for take out. Prices are high, but I would expect that on an Island. Rice was very chewy. Some of it dry. Fish looked old and they use sesame oil in the sushi. Way too much. I wouldn't go back and should probably rate this with one star. But they were quick with the order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small, hole-in-the-wall does exactly what the name implies - they make sushi to go, fast. There is a very small narrow high table with 2 stools where we sat in to eat, but that takes up half of the area for customers.
The (vegan) sushi we ordered was very tasty. We can't speak to their seafood-containing offerings.
Staff was polite and efficient. Prices for what we ordered were in line to a little cheaper than what we're used to.
If you're looking for take-out sushi, this is a great choice. 5 stars for what it is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of best sushi I've ever had. Don't be dissuaded by the storefront. These folks know what they are doing and they are very nice. There is a place across the street that is not good. I wonder if the bad reviews are meant for there because I've never been disappointed and I'm super picky. And yes; take it to go as the name implies. ☺️

Everyone who works here is kind, attentive, and immaculate at what they do. In my opinion, best service on the island. Take out is always fast, and the food is always delicious. I can't rave enough about this place, they are providing much needed quality cuisine to SSI!
