This is a great resource to meet people. I moved to Vancouver right as the pandemic hit. This has been a great way to not only make friends but to meet singles without the hassles of online profiles. I recommend this to anyone who is open to meeting new people. The staff are super friendly and the coordinator Impreet is always there to help out when needed. I will continue to be a part of this club and I hope other people will join soon.

Love, love, love the Vancouver location and especially their event manager, Impreet (who is the most amazing, sweetest person ever!!). I've been a member for just over a year now and just upgraded to a lifetime membership. It is SO worth it! I was a bit hesitant signing up for it because I was 23 years old and did not think there would be a lot of younger people around, however I couldn't be happier with my decision to sign up. At first, there weren't any or very few people under 30, but everybody was super welcoming ,nonetheless, and I made great friends. The more events I went to, the more people I got to know and just in the last year, I have seen quite a few new faces that are under 30 or just around that age! Events and Adventure is literally like a big family with so many amazing members and very cool events. Can't wait until I can see everybody again in person ?

The idea seems great but during the interview they pressure you into paying over $2000 for a 1 or 2 year membership which doesn't include activity fees; if you do not pay after the interview club fees increase by $500 plus the no extra $30 membership fee goes away. If you tell them you want to think about joining and risk the extra fees and ask the process to proceed if you do not join right away they do not say much and end the interview. I love the idea of the club and am sure it would be a great experience but the pressure tactics to join are not ok. Another bad point is they do not separate activities by age groups, so you are assuming most people are in your age group. If they charged lower monthly fees by making a low fee with anytime cancelation and then just upcharging for events they would likely draw in more great members as sadly lots of great people will be turned around due to the pressure tactics. Or if they stopped pressure tactics and let members have a trial event (still paying event fee) then have the option to pay the 1 or 2 year joining fee if they would like to join more events, it would be better and more people would likely join. Pressure tactics and sign up today to get a deal tactics are wrong.

A scam. Save yourself. Not worth the money. PS: if you are younger than 35, are new to city, don’t have many friends or live alone. This is not the solution. It’s actually the opposite. You’ll lose money, time and whatnot.

Sign up: Aggressive sales tactics with plans that are priced to lead you into longer terms. The contracts have a 3 day cancellation period which doesn't even give you a chance to try out the service. Once the 3 days are up, you are locked in like a greasy gym membership. The sales person I dealt with claimed that there was a ratio of 2:1 women to men. This was a lie. Events: The event leads were friendly enough. The people were a mix of social and anti social. Some of the events were great but I am not convinced that it was worth the money they are asking. Organization: This company is awful to deal with. The website is out of date and should be updated. At the core they only care about the money. There was no flexibility shown during Covid and they were holding front line workers to their contracts. Other than myself I personally knew a couple more. Overall I would stay away until they change their oppressive contract policy. This is a sign that they are not confident in their product as if you want to quit for any reason, you should be able to. Imagine meeting someone 2 months in and then being forced to pay for a 3 year term all because you have been coerced into a long term plan based on "saving money". They will never get me back as a client and I would suggest staying away. Update July 27 2021: I continue to get ads for them on Facebook but they have blocked me from commenting as they do not want people to see the truth. This is not a company to trust.

I made the decision to join this group to meet new people. It's the best decision I ever made. The host are amazing, make you feel welcome and comfortable. I've tried so many new things that I never would have tried if it wasn't for this group. I've made many new friends. And can't wait for this pandemic to be over so I can do some of the big trips. The Vancouver event manager is the best person ever. The company is lucky to have her.

I went to one of the events as a plus one with my friend. It was extremely boring with not much organizing there. The event hosts were volunteers as far as I know. I know my friend pays a lot for the membership fee. Not worth the money for young people to join.

I've really enjoyed being a part of the group and am so happy I joined! It's a great place to meet new people and there are lots of different activities to choose from each month. The event manager is open to ideas for events and I've seen a few of my suggestions on the calendar within a month or two of suggesting them. Any issues that arise are dealt with quickly and if changes are possible to improve a situation, they are. I would recommend the group to anyone who wants an easy way to meet new people and try new things around the city :) I've only been a member three months and I've met a number of new friends that I do things with outside of club events which to me has made it all worth it.
