★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Essi is awesome. Although my haircut is a very basic haircut, it takes me a long time to get comfortable with the barber. I started going to Essi’s hair salon on the recommendation of a friend starting 2006, I have been a loyal customer ever since. Essi is not only a great barber but he is a very caring and giving man. When I got married in 2010, Essi was off sick with a strained back and he had another barber covering for him. I really wanted to have the perfect haircut on my wedding and Essi suggested on his own accord that he would come into work on a Saturday to give me a haircut for my wedding. Needless to say I was flabbergasted and impressed that he would not only come in on his day off, but also come in when he was dealing with bad back pains. I have been, and will continue to be a loyal customer and supporter of his great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've tried many different barbers in the Vancouver area over the years. Essi provides great service and the price is a great deal compared to other places that might charge twice as much. Close to transit and with parking in the back (just call him first) it's very convenient. Plus, the wife was happy with the cut, so I'll be going back for sure.
