Essence Recruitment was established with a vision of becoming Western Canada’s most trusted professional and executive search firm. Founder, Tracy Arno, was working with international corporations, but she wanted to provide more personalized service.
I wanted to use my industry experience and my extensive network to provide a more tailored service,” explains Tracy. “I built a team of experts who get to know the people behind the organizations we work with. We make meaningful connections, develop real trust, and become invested in our clients’ success.
Saskatoon was booming in 2011 and companies throughout Western Canada were looking to grow their leadership teams. Tracy knew it was the perfect time to launch her own company. She created a boutique recruitment agency that specializes in customized recruitment plans for small and medium-sized companies and not-for-profits in her community.
Tracy and her team work hard to find well-qualified candidates who will also be great fits for their clients’ culture and values. “Our reputation matches this value proposition and it’s why we’ve been so successful,” she explains.
Because of that success, Essence was able to expand and open a second office in Calgary in 2019.
