★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lagoon is a great place to go. During the day, there are food trucks every 100 metres and a view of Esquimalt and the states across the straight. At night, you can see the lights of the city and Port Angeles through the darkness. Beautiful night and day, great place for a date, family day, or a quiet walk on the beach.

Not sure if you can walk along the beach to Fort Rodd Hill but maybe something to check out next time. Very clean beach with lots of trash cans and some porta potties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous area with one side as a lagoon and the other as a beach front mountain view area. There is beautiful sustainable wood art by an artist of a variety of different birds, fitting for what this area is. Some art of eagles, owls, geese, and many other birds. A must see when you are in this area. They are located part way through the strip on the beach side with the mountain view not the lagoon side.

Many choices of things to do, beach walking, searching for shells, bird watching, playing in the water, collecting driftwood, or enjoying one of the many food trucks! Garbages are emptied daily, and there are washrooms and portapotties. Lots of parking! A lovely place to spend 5 minutes, or 5 hours!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to walk and see Victoria, the Pacific fleet, mountains in Washington state across the Juan de Fuca. Lots of birds to check out and some amazing art installations. Lots of parking, also a fun drive. Definitely an amazing walk.
