★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take a dog for a walk, run, socialize with other dogs. Large open fields perfect for a game of fetch. Paved path all around the circle. You can walk it in about 30minutes. Beautiful playground for kids and nice size pond for ducks ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our go to dog walking park. There are lots of friendly off leash dogs between the 2 sections of the park. All flat walking. There is also a well used play area, without dogs, though occasionally dogs on leash with families. A local nursery school uses it quite extensively, the toddlers are very cute!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is a great place for families and dogs that love to play with other dogs. If you want to bring your dog here, expect that other dogs will be running free and wanting to play. I would also expect to have dogs run up to you, greet you, rub on you, and such. So, don’t wear your tuxedo or evening gown! I am a dog person and don’t mind this at all, but if you’re shy about dogs, just be aware that this park seems to be a gathering place for local pups.
Colwood Creek park has great areas for walking, playing catch, Frisbee, or soccer, and some awesome playground equipment for the kiddos. The park occupies a large area and has lots of places for just walking around. On the north side, the park is connected to the Galloping Goose trail which means you can easily bike or walk to the park.
