★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little piece of paradise. Very relaxing trails that will give you the break from the city life that you're looking for. It's not an exciting destination if you're traveling, I see it more like a way for locals to enjoy nature without having to drive too long - its right in the city!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dogs allowed! Great space to go for walks and runs, any time of year. The parking is small but it's never too busy. The trails are relatively short but also relatively well marked and maintained. It's also all free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nature retreat in the city that costs you nothing more than your time. Ample parking and a mix of short trails you can tie together make this an easy place to bring the whole family to. They even have a flat wheelchair accessible trail that does a nice loop so there is an option for everyone. Along the trails are little urban legends to keep the kids entertained. This place offers lovely scenery that varies according to the season. You don't come here expecting to be challenged, you come here to unwind and refresh in nature for a bit. And for that it gets five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely charming place to go for a walk and forget you're in laval. Take the woodpecker trail its about 5 km and won't take you that long to go the entire length. Tons of woodpeckers in the morning and at sunset. A bunch of other species of birds too. In winter, its a great place for if you have snow shoes. Stunning in autumn when the leaves are falling.
