Had a garage door and opener installed, replacing an old existing setup. The 2 person crew did an incredible job, taking their time to install and show me the system on completion. I was particularly pleased with the neatness of the wiring when the job was finished. Would totally recommend these guys.

We had Equal Door put in a garage door for us in 2014 for $1868.50. There has been some issues due to an existing door opener that we had and Dan came out and the issues were dealt with immediately. Very impressed

I had a lot of issues with Jim (the tech) from my appointment in June 2020. I got off work early so that I could meet Jim at my home on time. 10 minutes to the appointment, Jim called me and said he was going to be 20 minutes late. He ended up being an hour late. Jim worked on the door and we both thought it was fixed. He didn't come with any PPE equipment, even after we asked him to put a mask or gloves on, he refused to. A piece of the wiring was causing the sensors to malfunction, so I had to book Equal Doors to come back in August. I mentioned to Riley that Jim was an hour late last time, will he be late again? Riley says it's the first appointment in the morning and he'll make sure Jim leaves on time to get to my place on time. Jim called me 5 minutes to my appointment and he says he's going to be 20-25 minutes late. I was irritated because it was cutting into the rest of my schedule for the day. He tried to do a quick fix, which didn't happen, so he ended up having to come back after I finished with my appointments in the day. In all of the visits I had with Jim, I asked him several times to put on some PPE, but he ignored me. I kindly asked him to keep his distance from me, but again, ignored me. He wanted to create a work station in the back of my garage, so he grabbed my phone and wallet with his bare hands to move it, without even asking me. I asked him several more times to please stop touching my things (cellphone, wallet, garage door opener, etc.) if he's not going to cooperate with PPE. Jim gave me a lot of anxiety with these appointments and I felt very unsafe. I talked to Matt and Richard (owners/management?) and they did get back to me immediately to resolve the situation. I do feel that Matt and Richard handled the situation well. I'm never for anyone losing their jobs, however, I wouldn't want Jim to come back out to my place for further appointments.

I had Jim come out to my home to install storm screens on my doors. He was very professional and courteous and was pleasant to deal with. I also had inquired about the service with Dan and he was also very helpful. I think the company has a great team.

Equal Door was recommended to me by a home builder who had installed the Martin Door on a neighbouring house in our community. I was floored with how beautiful the craftsmanship was for a door that looked exactly like wood but was actually steel. When I was in the area, I popped into the Equal Door showroom to ask for more information and was greeted by Dan, the General Manager. He took the time to go over all of my questions and provide a detailed quote. To ensure his quote was perfect, Dan even came to my house himself to measure for the new doors. Once ordered, the doors arrived within a few weeks rather than the 4-6 they could have taken and our install was bumped up by a month as I was kindly put on a cancellation list when the doors arrived early. The install was as seamless as the entire process. I can't say enough great things about Dan, his team and Equal Door as a whole. I happily recommend them to all the neighbours who have been asking about our new doors.

The garage door they built and installed at my place was exceptional. It has a great wood look and I have received a lot of compliments. Dan is kind to talk too. Always responding to my emails. And the best part is the affordability of the door. you will forget the big box stores who are way to expensive. Thank you Equal doors for making my house look great
