Observed trucker tailgating and speeding. When brought up the concern with management, they didn't take it seriously. The culture at this company is second to everyone else out there.

Great operators with very fantastic experience but the management of the company is very hard to work with and to get recognized for the dedication for the work and the completion of jobs. great feedback from the customers for the safe work practices and steady operation of crane. To end my review I like to say good luck to the guys that I trained I hope the Company treats you better than they have for me As I will be now taking my experience to the next level

Short version: Great workers, job preformed well, management tried their absolute best to double the agreed upon price despite clear communication and a recording of my phone call discussing what should be charged beforehand. Long version: I called around for pricing and asked each company their rate and when the clock started and stopped. Encore was competitive similar to other companies but I decided to go with them based on a referral. On the phone I made sure to ask clearly if the clock started the moment the truck left the facility and stopped the moment it returned. They said yes. They also said they had a 2 hour minimum (useful because I have a small job that is close by). They send someone out and do a terrific job. The operator has the machine off the truck 10 minutes after arriving, and has it packed up and is leaving site in 75 minutes total. I receive the invoice showing 15 mins of travel time each way for what should be a total of 1.75hs. They get their minimum and I'm one happy camper... Wrong. They tacked on 1 hour for a pre-trip inspection and 1 hour for a post trip inspection (goodbye 2 hour minimum). I called to dispute it because it was clearly not what we agreed too and eventually got in touch with the owner who tried his best to defend charging the extra two hours despite my recording of his representative clearly stating what I'd be charged for beforehand. When I asked him what the point of the two hour minimum was when they charged two hours before doing any actual work he said it was for jobs they can drive the machine too without a truck (look up their location for a good laugh). In the end he asked me what I thought I should pay and I said the minimum, he disagreed but did honor the minimum in the end (After telling me I should dispute the creditcard charge if I disagreed with it). I would recommend only don't business here if you are willing to record your phone calls or get the pricing in writing beforehand.
