Empress Orthodontics is a modern, pristine office where staff and the doctor do their best to make sure you have an amazing experience as a patient. Wait time is short, parking is free, and service is professional.
c	clinton hupple on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Empress orthodontics. After approx. $8000 my teeth were completely ruined. Near the end of my initial treatment with braces I was informed that I would need to get veneers. After speaking with a few cosmetic dentists, I was informed my teeth were not in the optimal position for the veneers. I then had to pay an additional $2000 to empress on top of my initial treatment to further correct my teeth. After several tries and failed results I finally gave up. I found Dr. Shadmand to be extremely unprofessional and difficult to deal with. We were unable to come to a resolution. In the end I had to pay an additional $6300 to another cosmetic dentist to fix the issues.

Her staff are all very nice and always helpful. Her appointments are always on time and whenever I'm late Dr. Shadmand has always understood and made sure I got my treatment that day. Get your perfect smile here, you won't regret it!

During regular visits she checked everything thoroughly, and on both occasions the treatment was finished at the target time. She was approachable during emergencies and holiday season. All her staff are very friendly and very accommodating to give appointments that works with student schedules. Highly recommended,

L	Lisa Westlake Ambassador on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a reason I drive 45-minutes (each way) to my old neighborhood in Toronto to get my teeth taken care of by this office! -- I was worried about getting braces for the second time... I had them in my teens but the Orthodontist I went through didn't do a great job at helping me maintain the work we did. Spending more time and money to 're-do things' in my 40's certainly wasn't something I was excited about... but did this office ever help me regain my trust in an Orthodontist! Dr. Shiva Shadmand has been so kind and is always so friendly, and very professional! She helped me select an effective and affordable game plan for straightening my teeth. It was less than I had expected, and I am SO ELATED with the results !! I never thought I'd have my teeth looking the way they do right now! The staff I see during my visits -- Amy, Christine, and Linda are always so friendly! They greet me with a smile each visit, ask about how things are going in my life, and they listen when I have any questions or concerns about travel and provide great direction. After going through this process for the second time and having another experience to compare this to, I could not recommend this Team enough!! They are a delight to see, are helpful in every way, and they have certainly earned my trust! THANK YOU ALL for such a GREAT EXPERIENCE !!!
C	Cy Kia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an Invisalign treatment completed with Shadmand in 2016. I wasn't completely satisfied with the results but yet Shadmand decided the treatment was complete. I was never offered a consent to sign and they proceeded with removing the Invisalign components, installing the wires behind me teeth and preparing a permanent retainer to be worn forever. The wire behind my top teeth had recently come off and they were nice enough to accommodate an appointment for a replacement on short notice. However, Shadmand's first attempt at installing the the wire wasn't very successful and she quickly became frustrated that it didn't line up with my bite and made it seem like it was my fault. Her tone was both rude and condescending. She also yanks the first wire out of my mouth without being gentle. Her second attempt at installing the wire was a bit better but still not perfect. My bottom teeth still come into contact with the new wire. They never offered to have me rinse out my mouth with all the raw materials they use for the process either. On top of it all, the receptionist also requested that I should pay double since the replacement took two attempts. TLDR; They are nice to you during your initial treatment, but that quickly changes once the treatment is over. I have received better treatment at regular dental offices than this office. Will not consider returning back here or recommending to others. All the best Shadmand, I tried to be as constructive as I could with this review.
