Wonderful level of care at this location, from the polite door security to the smiling faces upon entry it was a very pleasant experience.

It's no wonder so many people are homeless. The government holds your entire rent cheque without telling you and in this weather, people are forced to live out in the snow because they can't pay their rent because some lady takes her job too seriously in the assistance office. FYI not everyone is a junkie and some legitimately need money to pay for a roof over their head. Useless system.

I put a service request for emergency clothing allowance on Monday 25th October as soon as I heard word that I was hired for employment, this employment company requires me to have black shoes black pants I'm on disability currently and trying desperately to get back until working world when I did not hear today Wednesday if I was granted funds to return back to work for these clothing items I called at 3:30 p.m. today and the lady that answered the phone told me there's more important people ahead of me and they take it first come first serve and they'll get to me when they get to me when I said this is in regards to employment she said there isn't anything that she's willing to do

If there was a negative 5 stars, that is not even close to the level of my experience at this office. I'm on perminant disability from breaking my neck in 5 places and have had a totally unnecessary struggle to get my cheque multiple times, even as far as being told I have to get a number from income contribution office to find out they don't and never have givin out a number for this request. When I got back to the window (with the kind lady on my phone speaker) I was told "I don't need to talk to you or her " and was handed my cheque promptly. That tells me and the lady on my phone that it was all a game. Because they knew there was no such number..

If I could give -10 stars I would. The staff at this location are rude. I asked a simple question and told the worker that I don't even live in BC anymore over the phone and I was told "Quit being rude." This was AFTER telling her multiple times that I told the Chilliwack office back in December 2020 that we were moving. It was around this time that they started claiming they over paid us etc. ?

Staff are extremely helpful and kind. Security always opens and holds the door for people, which is very beneficial when you have a stroller. The people complaining need to understand that this location doesn't control if you get your cheque, they're just doing their job. Anytime I ever did have an issue, it was resolved quite fast and efficiently.
