★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never used their services, never even inquired, and 100% never knew they even existed. I would have chosen a million other agencies if I needed marketing services.
They have spam called my personal phone, my company phone, my personal email, and as well as our company email.
The person on the phone speaks as if the work was already done, and that things were agreed upon. Upon further investigation and maybe thinking I was forgetful, I have no search history with the company name "Emotive" other than these emails with a sketchy invoice attached to it (screenshot provided).
Emotive is a scam, and for a website that creates/develops their own campaigns, it's rather odd that they had another company make their own website, also with an address that doesn't belong to them.
Be aware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just got a call as well. I was trying to get more information from them but they talk in very general terms. They make it sound like you're renewing something you had already ordered in the past through them. They say they want to send you a "proof and media kit" for your review. But a quick google search told me Emotive Media as well as the directory "MB Biz Index" is not legitimate. We almost fell for a scam like this in the past and was invoiced but we never paid. If they send anything, we will not pay and return the package.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company took information from our website without our permission and proceeded to send us an invoice. An unfortunate AP clerk paid the invoice by mistake, thinking it was legitimate. Their people have now proceeded to harass our employees, and placed several names of staff members on their info sheet, claiming multiple different office employees have signed up for and confirmed this service. They then used a recording of asking for an address confirmation as "proof" that we signed up for this "service" where it sounds like you pay for search engine optimization of your company listing on their site (this does not make any sense). This scam is absolutely gross, and hopefully they are held accountable. Luckily I'm not busy today and so I'll do my best to review them everywhere I can including BBB, and reach out to some city and provincial officials where they are located and let them know this scam is operating in their community.
