Hi! I am Emilie. I am the mother of two beautiful children and we live in Calgary with my partner and our multiple pets.
I grew up in many places as my family was travelling for my dad’s job. My travels inspired me to care for both the environment and the humans on this planet and their rights. I studied to obtain a MSc in Water Management in 2006 and since, I have been working for Non for Profit organisations supporting people access safe water and sanitation.
It is with the pregnancy and birth of my first child that I started to experience a different kind of passion: individual growth and empowerment. It translated in training and years of experience as a birth doula, energy healing practitioner and more recently as a life coach as side passions of my career.
I’m alive to enjoy life, find happiness in every moment, learn about myself and support others in living a meaningful and happy life too.

She is ethical without adhering to dogmatic rules, which allows for a flow and opening that is precious to me. She can be vulnerable and powerful at the same time, and she conveys confidence, which helps students gain confidence. She is humble and curious, honours consent beautifully and, I think, has all the most important qualities a Reiki teacher ought to have to be very effective.

Her energies are very comforting, you feel like you can discuss anything with her without shame or embarrassment. Also her home and healing room have the same comforting energies. Even though i've had quite a few metaphysical experiences over the last 2 years, I was still not 100% confident that this type of work would bring to light the insights and understandings I was searching for, but I entered this session with an open mind and no expectations. After the session, the things she brought up to me didn't allow for an ounce of skepticism, nobody could've touched on those 5-6 huge weights on my shoulders. Even people I have discussed my life with couldn't have understood and/or articulated these points in such a way. I left Emilies house with a sense of belonging that I hadn't felt in a while. It’s beautiful how she follows her intuition and goes with whatever comes up. The work around my family was exactly the piece I needed to look at and address, and I’m so glad I went in to see her. I decided to book with Emilie on Facebook when I saw the ad with her beautiful healing room, since I have been feeling a bit stuck in my spiritual / person growth. We had just met once briefly before, so this was the first time getting to know each other, but she sure didn’t feel like a new healer! She is so kind, warm, and authentic, and I had no problem talking very openly with her about my family dynamics and anything that came up. I loved how she invited me to participate in my healing. She structured the session with a really nice flow, starting with tea and a conversation, where the healing already started around my family, then we went into a reiki session on the table where she continued channeling messages and visuals that gave me exactly the clarification and insight around my family that I needed to move forward in my own growth. We ended with another conversation with a discussion of more of the insights that she got while working on me. I’m sure I’ll see her again in the future for another session, and I highly recommend her services!
