The location was good, but the landlord needed to paint a lot of walls, especially the carpets, which needed to be professionally cleaned at a cost of $160. So I only got about half of the demage deposit back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have rented here for three years and I cannot say I have enjoyed it. The only thing I could say is that it was new when I rented, I have only called them for maintenance twice and it took them months to get it resolved. Now I want to move out and they want me to do everything for them including painting. Living in a space for almost 3 years and you want it like it was, tenant is required to steam clean the carpet and paint too. Even little pin holes in the wall. All rent paid over time and I’m still to do everything for your next tenant after leaving the premises clean. This place is not good at all. Do not rent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly I'm just writing this review so Emerald Sky will stop emailing me every 2-3 days to review my experience. They lost a few stars on this review because of that.
Other than that, I am very happy living here. I've been here about a year now and the building is well maintained, rules are reasonable, the company is professional, and the neighbours are very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spoke with the leasing manager, I assume, she was one of the rudest people I've had to deal with when looking at places to live. This lady had some sort of arrogance giving out information on the rentals even after saying there was a housing crisis in Calgary, continued to have 0 sympathy or understanding on the issue. As if her building were the only available properties in Calgary to rent? She also kept pushing the biggest, most expensive unit even after repeatedly saying I wanted something smaller. Just plain rude and arrogant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rental process with Hitendar was excellent. We did everything remotely because my wife, child and I were moving from Toronto to calgary. All questions were answered promptly and he was very polite and accommodating especially since our move in date was Dec 31st and we are running late from the airport due to flight delay. The building itself is really nice, very clean, polite neighbours and in walking distance to grocery stores and such.
My only complaint is my apartment gets extremely hot, especially at night. The thermostat doesn’t seem to really do anything and I can’t really open the windows or balcony door in the middle of winter due to the possibility of freezing the pipes and causing damage.
Besides that, it’s a great place and Im happy to call it home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Units are nice, new. Not too much noise between units. Slightly overpriced for how small they are. Management staff try their best, but I do not believe that Carlisle Developments employs enough staff to deal with a full building. This corner cutting results in 2-3 week delay in contacting them for any issues. Unfortunately in my experience this is standard in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve rented here for 6 months and it has been a GREAT experience! The property is well managed by Htinder and is very clean. The two times I needed help a few months in, I dealt with senior manager Jennifer - who’s been nothing short of AMAZING btw! She has gone above and beyond for me. My car was broken into and Jenn was very helpful with the process and kept me informed throughout that stressful time. If you’re looking for wonderful place to rent, I would HIGHLY recommend Emerald Sky or any of the properties owned by City Vibe.
THANK YOU to the amazing staff and caretakers of this building. We appreciate everything you do to make this an enjoyable place to call home.
