Tyler was accommodating and quick to come and fix a power outage. He was knowledgeable and was able to fix the issue right way. He even patiently explained what had happened and repaired some shoddy work done by a pervious electrician. Definitely recommend.

Tyler was great, and on time. He explained to me the different options for upgrading my electrical panel so that I can hook up a Electric car charger.. He wasn't in it to sell me on anything, just informative so that I can make the right and most practical decision to suit my needs.

My brother tried to install a timer switch for my bathroom fan. Then nothing in the bathroom worked, lights or fan! So I phoned Electric Avenue and Tyler came within 1 hour and fixed everything. Friendly, fast and helpful. I highly recommend Tyler and Electric Avenue

Tyler is Very Prompt, Methodical, and Thorough. He is Upfront about the Work & the Costs. He traced an Electrical Short, to a loose ground, that he found in the Electrical Box for our Doorbell. It was shorting at all the other lights and wall sockets on the same circuit. He reconnected the ground wire properly, and all the lights, wall sockets, and the associated Door Bell, on the same circuit, work Perfectly. I would use Tyler again, knowing how he works. He charged what I reasonably expected. I paid him using e-transfer, and he issued a Paid Invoice Immediately! Done!

Tyler was prompt courteous and professional. He made sure I knew exactly what he was testing and explained the process to me every step of the way. You could tell he was really trying to solve my electrical problem with his years of experience at the ready. Would highly recommend! plus he’s a friendly guy to boot! Please read this review, it involves a Christmas miracle!!! I have never left a review for anything in my life, and I honestly have no affiliation with Electric Avenue whatsoever - but my experience with this company was so incredible that I had to document it. At 11:30 pm on December 23rd, we discovered that our furnace had shut itself off (while it was -2 degrees) and found smoke coming out of our electrical Breaker Box. We were freaked out and desperate, as our kids were asleep in their rooms, right before Christmas, and we were now left with a smoking electrical fire hazard and absolutely no heat in the middle of the freezing night. I began hurriedly reading business reviews online trying to find a 24 hour electrician and came across Electric Avenue completely by chance (I had never even heard of the company before). I called Tyler at Electric Avenue and told him about our predicament. Tyler immediately agreed to come help us and was at our house within 30 minutes (keep in mind that we are now into the early hours of Christmas Eve). Tyler quickly diagnosed the electrical problem with our Breaker Box and stopped the fire hazard, however he informed us that the Breaker that had melted down from the heat was no longer in production (from a company that no longer exists), and that he likely wouldn’t be able to get a replacement before Christmas. We were pretty crushed, as this meant we would have no heat during this cold stretch and would have to move out of our house and stay at a hotel with our kids for Christmas. Even thought it was now 1:00 am on Christmas Eve, Tyler was in no rush to leave, but rather told us he wanted to inspect our second Breaker Box just to be thorough (even though he could have easily gone back home to bed, as the job was technically “done”). Here in the second Breaker Box, Tyler found the specific Breaker that we needed, and spent the next hour completely fixing our electrical problem so that we were able to use our furnace. I’m sitting here in my own home with my kids on Christmas Eve, and the only reason I’m able to do that is because Tyler came out in the middle of the night and went above and beyond to help us. I can’t recommend hiring him and his company enough.

Tyler was professional and friendly. He did an efficient job installing my ceiling fan. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain how to most effectively use it. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for a electrician.
