★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Él Loco Taco was perfect! An old gas station was transformed into this unique restaurant.
You have the option of take out, to sit in the restaurant or enjoy the cool patio. The food is prepared in the food truck at the back of the restaurant. I love this idea!
My chicken tacos were delicious. I ordered two and I had a hard time finishing it, so I shared. The margarita was the best I’ve had in a long time. The service was quick and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was unexpectedly disappointing! As an expert margarita lover this was possibly the worst lime margarita we ever had! Served in a very small glass for double $14 margarita is terrible and it had a very bad bitter taste! The food was ok, had the bowl and the pork in it was really yummy, however the rest was very very bland! Burrito was ok but also bland. I only give it 2 stars because the server was very kind!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally was able to try this place. And definitely was not disappointed. The front holds a counter to order from with limited seating. And in the back of the house has a fantastic bar. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious with a great burger on the menu. They also have plenty of patio seating outside too. Can't wait for my next visit to Salt Springs to try this place again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was amazing! The tacos and margaritas are to die for and authentic. The owner is awesome, loved his chill personality and sense of humour and he’s the one who made our margaritas himself w fresh lime.
You shouldn’t miss this place if you go to Salt Spring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their kitchen is a fun food truck inside the restaurant! We really liked the lively owner/server and the happy vibe of El Loco Taco! Even though it was a very busy market day, we were able to find a table in the shade. We had giant, delicious burritos. If you order tacos, plan to eat more than one or order fries for a complete meal.

Yes, the owner made suggestions for gluten free, keto dishes for me, and everything was excellent. The cantina atmosphere is charming... love love, love it & will be back again for sure !
