Eggspectation - Richmond

Very nice, clean restaurant with a cozy ambience. The omelette I ordered was the Eggspectation Omelette. I thought the dish overall was a bit on the dry side. The eggs tasted slightly over cooked yet was on the lukewarm side when it was served. Since my partner’s order was great, I’d still give them another try.

One of amazing breakfast places in Richmond. So many breakfast options with best quality and quantity. Not too heavy on pocket. Great service with great place. And the best thing is they starts at 7am?? if you’re looking for breakfast in Richmond give it a shot you’ll not be disappointed . Happy eating ?

This is a great place for brunch. They offer spacious and socially distanced seating, delicious dishes and prompt service. Their crepes were memorably unique with a sweet chicken taste. There are also Christmas decorations throughout the restaurant to make for a festive dining experience for the winter holidays. Parking is easy with many spots available just outside the restaurant.

What an absolute disappointment. My husband and I are early risers, so on the weekends, it's usually difficult for us to find a place that's open so early, that isn't Denny's. But when we googled some breakfast spots, we saw Eggspectation was open at 7am and we were ecstatic since the photos looked amazing... it's CLICK BAIT! We arrived around 8:15am and there wasn't a lot of people in the restaurant at that time. There was a lot of options from both the food and beverage menu, so we ordered our beverages first, the Green Light, while perusing the food menu... they came back and said they ran out of spinach - well there goes that idea, so my husband got an OJ and coffee & I had gotten their grapefruit juice. Then, to my disappointment, they didn't have the Waffle Bacon Benedict on the menu, but they had it on their online menu, so already I was disappointed. In the end, my husband ordered the "Chicken & Waffles", with a side of bacon and a poached egg. I went with the "High Rise Pancakes". Please, do not order these items if you go there. It stated chicken 'tenders' but ended up being an entire chicken breast with a less than appealing batter, a small portion of syrup, an overcooked poached egg and their famous Belgium waffle that probably shouldn't be called famous - the bacon on both our ends wasn't even close to being crispy, if anything it was soggy and he had only had one refill on his coffee, even though it wasn't busy. The High Rise Pancakes, was absolute garbage, no amount of syrup could save these pancakes. It crumbled from being so dry, even though it was undercooked, the quality of the sausage seem like it came from the dollar store and again, the bacon, ugh. For what they're charging for these meals, is absolutely highway robbery. If you're foodies like us, avoid this place if you can - Denny's would be better than this spot!

Eggspectation founded in 1993 in Montreal. Now it has 7 branches in Montreal, 5 in Quebec, & 1 in BC. ❗️I don’t recommend this restaurant if you are in Richmond or around. ❕ The atmosphere and area is almost neat & nice. ? The washrooms were not that clean. Women’s washroom was like something had exploded there. ?‍♀️The servers tried to be nice, yet they were not professional and you don’t feel to be served properly compared to many restaurants in Downtown or even Burnaby. ? For brunch, it does mot meet your expectations and generally the taste of food is not good. So, I can’t recommend anything special.

for us easy to find, they had lots of space to sit and it looked bright and clean. lost of space to park as well. what we ordered came fast, the smoothies were delicious, the quantity was good. i was happy with my eggs and pancakes. my bf ordered the lobster omelette, he gave it a 4/10.

Such a good brunch spot! Lots of selection and friendly service also ample space so even if it’s a bit busy you can find a spot without much wait. Just right at the accent hotel so can’t miss it. I had the Lobster Benny! 5/5 would come back to try the smoothie and juice bar.

It was our first time here and was very pleased with out dining experience. Our server was amazing and I loved their scrambled eggs, their pancakes, and just the variety of things they offer on their menu. Bit disappointed with their iced tea, there wasn’t much ice in it but it tasted like nothing. Definitely coming back though to try more of their menu.
