We live and work on Amiskwaciwâskahikan ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᕀ ᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ land within Treaty 6 Territory and within the Métis Nation of Alberta Region. This land is the traditional territories of many First Nations such as Nehiyaw (Cree), Denesuliné (Dene), Nakota Sioux (Stoney), Anishinabae (Saulteaux), and Niitsitapi (Blackfoot).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called there at the start of the week asking for a hamper an emergency hamper they told me to call back a few days later just for them to tell later again!!! Haven't had food all week and now they're telling me to go another week, I'm unable to work because of a recent accident. Service with a smile and a knife in your side

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Someone needs to overhaul this company. It says not-for-profit, but check out the houses of the top-management. There is so much wrong with how this is run. A charity-organization should use donations to give to the public, not to pay the salary of employees. Foodbanks use volunteers. I am a volunteer, and wanted to help, like I do in every city. There is no way I will help these people defraud the poor. This food bank is outright stealing from the impoverished and are happy to provide such poor service because it means they have no standards to meet. Hence, all donations go directly into the bank accounts of employees. It makes me sick to my stomach to see greed operating behind such a blatant facade of kindness.

We've been donating to the foodbank monthly for the past two years and just had the chance to see it in action when we helped an Afghani refugee family pick up their food hamper - it was wonderful to see all the great food that they received and the depot was well-organized and the volunteers helpful. Thank you so much for all that you do!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helpfully place when your unsure what do. And Most are friendly. But I doubt I will ever volunteer here again. Specially not with my kids. Who wants to watch staff talk town to poeple around then and throw things around. Disappointing considering the rest of the staff and volunteers around

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have been donating to the Edmonton Food Bank for some time now and today we saw it being used by an Afghan family of 11! It was very well organized and they filled 4 large boxes with every food item you can think of including halal chicken! And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much :)
