★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently became unemployed, I haven't had to use a resume in a number of years, I have been applying for jobs and not receiving any call backs, my husband suggested that I get a professional resume, so I gave Sam a call, scheduled an appointment, we went threw work history, skills and past projects and covered any relevant attributes. Sam came back to me with a very well put together resume, cover letter and thank you letter, I am extremely pleased with the results and quality of work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After many attempts to reformat my resume, and always assuming I had a format that is desired by most of the companies that I am applying to and yet not getting any results, I finally gave up and started searching for a resume writing service. After a fair degree of research on other services, I settled on Edmonton Resume Services based on the high volume of their positive reviews.
Part of the process required by them was a strategy session by which I sat with a resume writer for an hour and he asked me all the required information that he will be needing for writing my resume from scratch. At first, I thought this was a bit useless, as all of the information I was asked about was in my old resume I provided them earlier. However, once I saw the final product, I quickly realized the value of this additional information that they required.
Now, in regards to the final product, I was thoroughly impressed with what was pulled together based on all the information I provided. They infused descriptions and highlights of my career history that I had never considered before. It was as if they had worked in my shoes all those years, and then drafted my resume. In fact, I was pretty surprised when I read it for the first time and said to myself several times - "Hey, yeah I did do that..." and "Yes, that is the role I forgot I had filled..." and "WOW, that description sounds much better to a potential employer!"
In regards to the attention my resume is now getting, I have noticed that potential employers are indeed taking notice and I am now getting calls from them.
The formatting and word-combination that they employ in their service is well worth the cost. I am really impressed and happy with the final product.

The service was fantastic, Sam was always eager to help me with my objective of transitioning from my current employment into something more desirable. He was keen to hone in on what I really wanted to seek in terms of employment and took appropriate steps to ensure that this was accomplished.
My education and experience was correctly accounted for and quantified, giving me the best possible resume that is geared towards my desirable field of work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with Edmonton Resume Services has been outstanding. I recently got my retirement package from my company, where we were asked to leave in 3 months. I honestly didn’t know what to do having worked for the same company for over 20 years and never had to use a resume. I spoke with the receptionist which was a very professional lady and she explained to me the process from start to finish. Then after I spoke with Sam, who I met in person to go through my targets and preferences. After an hour conversation, I received an amazing written document that really had my hopes flying that I can succeed in selling my self in today’s market. So far I haven’t applied to any job yet, but I am looking forward to get my first interview very soon. Thanks again for all your help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sam was great to work with. Very professional and helpful in our meetings. The resume he wrote me however was of no use.
After reviewing and requesting feedback from people leaders elsewhere I was told the resume from Edmonton Resume Services was of poor quality, had grammar errors (that even I should've seen to be fair) and did not look professional. In fact the resume I did on my own was better received.
I'm hoping my experience was an anomaly. But I was very disappointed I wasted so much money for no gain.
