After receiving an "immediate relief pain injection" that was designed to last 3 days, I was released by the Dr. with a pain prescription and a referral for massage therapy. As my regular massage therapist was closed due to Covid restrictions, I searched the internet for a facility that was still operating and found Jody. After my initial appointment, Jody designed a plan of treatments to get my body back to some semblance of normality. Following three weeks of two hour sessions, I was once again able to sit up without assistance upon awaking. At this point Jody who has training in several techniques employed a number of them in my biweekly sessions to maximize my recuperation. I am now pleased to say that I presently maintain a two hour monthly appointment for what I call " maintenance" and though I did fill the Dr.'s prescription, I never felt the need to use it. Thank you, Jody!

I am therefore familiar with various therapies in this field and some amazing results. Following a 2008 vehicle accident I have suffered frequent vertigo attacks accompanied by many upper body/back/neck & shoulder aches and pains. Although I’ve received temporary relief for the past 12 years - my recent months with virtually no vertigo attacks have only been attained with Jody’s professional help. I appreciate Jody’s intuitiveness & knowledge as well as her ongoing research to find additional healing methods for her clients. Jody has used many types of therapy during my sessions resulting in relief from my upper body/neck/shoulder/elbow pain, lower back and knee pain along with the frequent bouts of vertigo! Yay for me now living a better life and my many thanks to Jody for her help getting me there!! ??

With the support of a number of therapies, seeing a neurologist and lifestyle changes I managed to get them down to 2-3 a month. After starting treatment with Jody, I was able to go migraine free for the first time in 8 years! For me, this is life changing. I will forever be grateful for her thoughtful, caring approach to my care. Jody would assess where I needed treatment most each visit by constantly checking in with me during our session and adjusting as necessary. I've had chronic pain in my back, neck, hips, and shoulders and after each treatment, I feel amazing. She's always learning new techniques, from cupping to massaging muscles while they're in motion. She gives an amazing deep tissue massage and works out every knot in my body. She remembers my trouble spots and researches problem areas looking for new solutions. I feel like she really understands my body and clearly explains the work she is doing. She's a great conversationalist and I always look forward to our appointments. I will never go to another massage therapist in Edmonton again, she's just that good.
