★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pregnant wife was experiencing extreme pain and vomiting, called 911. Fire personnel dispatched in till paramedics arrive.
A total of four fire personnel came up to the unit, one of the older gentlemen stood watch while another asked my wife questions and other two fairly young were in training as he said. As he fires his questions and doing his test he seemed rude and quite bothered as if he was irritated, he kept on insisting for prenatal record given by the ob/gyn same as the older one who is simply watching and none are showing any empathy at all as my wife who is in major pain.
Till the end they just kept asking for the records as if we were here illegally. It was a stressful time and totally not happy with there service. Hope to never see them again. For the record, ALBERTA health prenatal record is given to expectant mother AT 36 WEEKS.
My wife was obviously not there yet.
Maybe further training and interpersonal training is required.
