when i went to this so called "school" (from grades 1-5), i was met with a tragic experience. one time, i was floating down the halls, and i saw it. A STUDENT. A HUMAN BEING. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! THIS STUDENT WAS WALKING, AND NOT FLOATING LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. THIS IS COMPLETELY, UTTERLY, MOST DEFINITELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, UNACCEPTABLE. DO BETTER IN TEACHING KIDS HOW TO BEHAVE PROPERLY. I DON'T WANT TO SEE THIS AGAIN.

We just attended the Welcome to Kindergarten orientation day yesterday at Edenrose P.S. We were sent a reminder in the mail and an automated phone message which was great. The session started at 4pm and with us both being working parents, we arrived 15 minutes late. I realize they have a session to run and they should still proceed and not wait for those who are running late but when we got there the person who checked us in at the desk indicated that we wait in the library until the session started. We waited along with about 20-25 other parents and at 4:35pm, I went to check in with her again. She said not to worry that it was to start at 4:30pm so it should start soon. We continued to wait until 4:45pm where another teacher who came to the library for another reason saw all of us parents there and indicated that they sessions were well underway and that we should join them. She got the Vice Principal of the school and I explained to Vice Principle that the person working the desk to check all the students in told us to wait and that we've been waiting for 1/2hr. To this, there was no apology - just a question as to what colour sticker did we get when we checked in and she showed us where the group was that we were to join. We were able to visit two classrooms and on our way out asked if we received our welcome letter and if not to line up to get it before we left. We lined up to get the letter and I asked the person handing them out when she was searching for our name if we would find out who the teacher was. She indicated that teachers were not assigned yet. I then looked at the letter and low and behold the name of the teacher was there. I am sending my 4yr old there this September and if this is how disorganized they are, I am not sure how comfortable I am sending her all on her own to staff that don't seem to be communicating and with a Vice Principle who wasn't of much help with providing the leadership she should be in that role. I am trying not to over react but will I find my daughter leaving the school on her own as they couldn't get things together?? I will be sending the same feedback to the school.

My daughter went to Edenrose as a French Immersion student. Mme Watson and Miss King made grade 5 the best year for her. Their support throughout the year was phenomenal. They were very active on electronic platform and provided feedback throughout the year. This was the first time we had so much communication with teachers. I wish all teachers would adapt electronic apps to connect with parents in elementary schools.

Graduating class of 2017. I've went to Edenrose ever since junior kindergarten (so a total of 7 years), and it's always been quite a pleasant experience. I remember going to the move-a-thons, cookie and freezie sales and really loved the play day at the end of the school year. I don't know if they still do this, but there also used to be a PALS program where leaders would play with the students who didn't have anybody to play with.

This is an amazing school for anyone looking to go to an elementary school! Some teachers are...so so but all the others are really nice and do an amazing job teaching. Mr. Goode has been in this school for a really long time and he's an awesome gym teacher. So i'll give it a 4 star for now.

We recently moved to the neighborhood & my child is going to this school. Had really great experience since day one. My child was given a very warm welcome to the class. The teachers are so good. They always try to keep in touch and update us. My child felt at home & is very happy to be at this school.

Some of the teachers were rare treasures, but others were terrible. Everything was extremely disorganized, dirty, and kids got bullied. The janitors deserve a raise, the school bathrooms were closed half the time, I highly doubt the school would pass health examinations. Parents, please note, the school bathrooms dont even have soap. You guys really gotta do better, right now I would say with certainty the school deserves no better than a 1 star review. A terrible learning environment, parents please dont put your children through 5 years of pain.

When I used to go there, it was a really good school. The teachers there were amazing. Now I’m graduating high school and my little cousins go to Edenrose and told me everything. It’s trash. Don’t send your child there. The vice principal is mean and absolutely horrible. The teachers don’t treat the lunch supervisors there like human beings. They (some teachers) acc think they’re better and higher than supervisors and teacher assistants and they treat them like it.
