★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This trail would be much better if they would put as much work into it as they do the surrounding infrastructure. Closing a main section of the boardwalk because the parks maintenance can't or won't come up with a solution for dealing with the water at one end seems a bit weak in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an excellent family walk alongside Langford lake. Clean and well maintained. Near the beach and boardwalk the little ones can search for turtles and frogs. The trail turns more into forest the further north-west you go with some large 2nd growth just off the path. A few docks and a public boat launch allow for some fishing too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Natural trail through the forest running alongside the edge of Langford Lake. Turtles sunning on logs near the lakeshore and mother ducks & ducklings swimming near the pier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Short and sweet. S l o w d o w n if you’re cycling. People and dogs. Lots of curves and ups and downs. Short sight lines. Smell the roses, not the dirt after you crash. ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice trail with a boardwalk. Fairly forest covered for a while on the walk. Some parking spots along the road. There is a porta potty at the entrance and some seating areas part way through along the boardwalk. Water body at the end of the boardwalk as well.
