★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful park in the North End of Hamilton. Basketball courts, play structure, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, cycling track. This is a huge park with lots of space for any type of activities you would want to do. Free parking, safe, close to Williams and the waterfront. Quiet, isolated, and one of the most underrated parks in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eastwood park: what a neat spot. Giant curved shapes dominate the waters edge and give the lakefront a monumental feel, with the softened curves feeling luxurious not austere.
HMS Haida currently parks adjacent to these whale like architectural furnishings. They both scale well to each other. Its incredible that the Haida is a smaller vessel in the over all typical navy fleet, yet to walk by it is to be astounded at how large it is, how tall its midship tower is and how long the displacement is. Truly a marvel.
