After looking at the problem, their technician determined the pump was leaking and needed to be replaced. The cost for the pump was about CAD 68.00 + labor, but they could not tell how much labor it would take to replace it. The initial diagnostic was completed in about 20 min, ad the pump was replaced just short of 1 hour. I GOT BILLED 2.5H labor for a 1.5 hour job. Their reasoning was that the diagnostic technician they hire is paid 1.5 H per diagnostic, which is based on industry standards; so they said. My total bill came up to $400 including taxes, while parts make up only $ 68. SO BEWARE AND BE PREPARED

We stopped in to look and later were booking a few test drives and made a purchase. Tyler made shopping for a new car very easy especially having our kids with us. He never once made us uncomfortable nor was he ever pushy. Other car salesman could learn a lot from Tyler.

I have been a VW owner since Easthill Autohaus days (1984), but decided to avoid the dealership very soon after the original owner retired. In 2019, my TDI needed some expert warranty work. Hearing that there were new owners, I took it in to get advice and got a very nice surprise. They were fabulous. It was an unusual issue, but the mechanic new exactly what needed to be done, consulted with me, ordered the parts, and ended up correcting an additional warranty issue as well. My expectations were exceeded. More recently the staff at Easthill VW even helped to arrange the purchase of a newer VW from another dealer, and I am very satisfied with the result. Everyone is pleasant, helpful, accommodating, and knowledgable -- professional in every way -- clearly working together as a well-oiled team, and all with a keen sense of humour. They enjoy what they do, and they are good at it -- working together to recapture the reputation enjoyed by the original owners. BRAVO

Jeff partnered us with Tyler, who was friendly and accommodating to all my requests and asks. As I'm in Toronto, everything was done over the phone and email correspondence. He searched high and low for the vehicle I was looking for and we drove away with the perfect vehicle. I could have easily worked with a local VW dealership only 10 minutes away, but it's this level of service and customer care that will always bring our business back to Easthill VW.
