Dr. Lin Liu graduated from Shandong Traditional Chinese Medical University in China, where she studied both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Chinese Medical Herbs for six years. After that, she studied for three more years to earn a Master’s degree in Acupuncture. Dr. Liu practiced TCM and Acupuncture at Liang Shan Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in China for seven years as a Chinese Medical Doctor.
She is the daughter of highly acclaimed Traditional Chinese Medical doctors. The fourth in her family to follow in the medical tradition, she was steeped in Chinese Medicine knowledge from a very early age and carries the collective experience of four generations. She is also open to and familiar with Western medical knowledge. She teaches her patients that TCM should be seen as complementary to Western medicine and that they work well together.
Dr. Liu has worked as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medical Doctor in our community for over 20 years. She is the owner and head practitioner of Eastern Healing Center in Winnipeg. Dr. Liu specializes in infertility, internal balance, pain management, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and more.
She is the Vice President of The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada (CMAAC), the President of CMAAC Manitoba Chapter, the President of TCM and Acupuncture Association of Manitoba, and a Licensed Acupuncturist throughout Canada.
Dr. Liu has also founded the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture College of Manitoba. Her tireless devotion to sharing this wonderful tradition of Chinese Culture is truly an inspiration.

I discovered they could help with an issue I had had for several years (at least ten years) which I had been going to a chiropractor to manage mobility and pain in my lower back and hip after injury. After a few months of treatment with Dr. Liu, I have been pain free without further treatment required by either her or a chiropractor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 24 hours in ER for extreme sciatic pain, I took a four trip to Eastern Healing Centre, Winnipeg, to see if I could receive emergency care from Dr Lin Liu. She was able to see me the same day. I struggled to get in the door with crutches, and walked out an hour later carrying them. The team there are very knowledgeable and efficient and I highly recommend them. Very, very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to see Dr. Liu for acupuncture for about 8 months now for regulating my cycle. It only took about 4 months of seeing her until my cycles regulated. Needles are not my forte, but she made the process easy and painless, I look forward to my appointments now because of the amazing results. The herbs are not the best tasting (I will admit!), but along with the acupuncture sessions, my overall health has improved greatly. My whole family goes to Eastern Healing Centre and we see all the various personnel there for acupuncture, pain management, massage and physio. Everyone there is professional and take the time to listen to your issues - HIGHLY recommended.

Dr. Lin Liu is an amazing TCM Doctor, she's made such a difference in my level of pain and emotional balance, everyone there is very kind and helpful. Couldn't recommend Eastern Healing Center more, whether you've never had acupuncture before or are well versed this is the place to come for the best healing experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I was left face down on a cheap massage table that left deep marks all over my face I could hear lots of noise outside my room. The Acupuncturist had me in an awkward position where I couldn't relax and had no way of asking for help. I was left for quite awhile without being checked on. When I commented they asked me if i suffer from anxiety. These people are not healers they are scammers. Do yourself and go to a nicer place.
