★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a beautiful, very rural setting to grow vegetables, check out this community garden. The entire place feels private, intimate and quiet, well managed, looks beautiful and the gardeners are friendly, always willing to share produce, expertise and ideas. Often times you will be the only one there to enjoy the community pheasant, neighbour's cat and nature all around. With fields surrounding and an old heritage barn in a field of old fruit trees, you may opt to bring out your paints and take in the scenery. The management really does try hard to ensure people get their money's worth in renting a garden space. Lots going on here including school programs. Love it!
