Early Learning Childcare is a brand new and modern daycare centre in the heart of Edmonton’s central business district at the corner of 100 Ave and 103 Street.
We’re very excited about the opening of our brand new facility. In addition to our emphasis on the highest quality of child care, our centre will utilize technology where appropriate and beneficial, such as our ceiling BEAM system (coming soon) which projects an interactive virtual playground into the learning area, digital slide shows of your child’s classroom activities as well as access to a mobile app that highlights your child’s day and acts as a direct communication link between yourself and your child’s teacher.

β β β β β I am so happy I found this daycare, as parents know itβs so hard to find the right place for your child, but I am happy I finally find the daycare for my child. The educators are so professional and caring, I am really happy to see how they are loving and caring towards all the kids. I also like the menu provided and even my picky eater has been eating well since started on the daycare. I also love how all the classrooms are set up in a way where they can see each otherβs space and how every room has a kids washroom, you would be surprised how hard is to find that in other daycares, itβs specially important for kids on potty training or with constipation problems. Safety was also a big concern of mine when choosing a daycare and I do feel my child is safe here. They do have cameras to see all the outside playarea in the main office. I do love the activities that the educators do in the classroom , my child has learned lots here and I appreciate all the hard work and extra mile they have shown my family as my kid needs extra accommodation due to health issues. Lastly I love the Storypark app used to updated us on the kids activities. Thanks for the hard work, we really appreciate all you do.

β β β β β We love ELC! Our child has thrived here and is constantly learning things that are above what is expected while still clearly having learning very based in play.
For a downtown daycare they also have an EXCELLENT outdoor play space, that still feels secluded and safe from other downtown activity.
The team really gets to know the kids and the families, and goes over and above what is requested of them by AHS (in terms of covid-19 protocols and general health and safety). The team makes very good use of the Storypark app as well which is so nice for seeing what the kids are up to each day.
We used to think we were a family that would prefer a day-home but we tried that before ELC and we are converts! Well worth the extra few dollars for peace of mind and seeing how much our child has flourished.

β β β β β Early Learning Childcare was everything that we could have possibly asked for in a daycare. The staff took care of our child with a fierce love and unrelenting compassion. They have truly felt like an extension of our family as they helped guide our child through their toddler and preschool years. We will always treasure the kindness with which they have led our child and us through the three years that we were lucky enough to be a part of their circle.

β β β β β I can strongly suggest to you that ELC staffs are amazing and incredible. My son has been attending for almost 2 years, and he really likes them so much. Even during the Pandemic, still continuing, they are working hard to keep our children from any chance of contagion. (Also their health too.) I truly appreciate them for their lots of efforts.

β β β β β I could not be happier with our decision to enroll our daughter in ELC. She is currently in the Observer group (the youngest one) and has been enjoying her time there immensely. This was her first introduction into childcare and, as an only child, she has not had much opportunity for social interaction (especially during the pandemic and the resultant restrictions). However, her transition was seamless! This is in large part due to the amazing staff at ELC. They are professional, warm, and very experienced/qualified for teaching children and infants. They are always engaging directly with the children/babies and are always playing with the kids (instead of merely watching them play or standing around on their devices). I especially love the daily updates that they post on their app that keep me up to date with the various activities the children in her group are doing. We also get weekly individualized updates specific to our daughter, which we can share with family.
The facility is conveniently located and parking/drop-offs are no issue with their designated parking lot. The daycare is clean and has play areas designated for the various age groups. They have an on-site kitchen and a healthy menu.
I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone. Seeing how well our daughter is thriving since joining this community has eased any worry I might have had about her starting daycare.

β β β β β I cannot say enough about this daycare. As a parent I love the daily updates including pictures and videos. The educators are extremely creative to keep the kids engaged and involved. You will definitely see your kid develop, grow and learn. I am glad I found this daycare and I would definitely recommend you consider this place as your kids second home.

β β β β β Our child has been going to ELC for 3 years and we absolutely love it. The team (both the Educators and the Office staff) are incredible - we can't recommend them enough. We know our child is safe, and they come home at the end of each day with the best stories. The staff provide us with resources if we're working towards a new milestone (like when we started potty training), and they are so supportive of our child's interests. We also love how connected we feel to the daycare and the activities the children do during the day; they feel like a part of our family, and we love them all so much! The centre is clean, brightly lit, filled with colour and excitement, and the yard is fantastic.

β β β β β Can't say enough good things about Early Learning Childcare.
My 1 year old started here earlier this year. The transition was made smooth and seamless through the care and attentiveness (to both child and parent!) provided by the staff and educators.
Each day, the educators come up with fun and creative indoor activities. The children spend time outside on walks and in the play yard. Meals, snack time and naps are well organized. The facility is constantly being cleaned and tidied. Communication is clear and daily updates are provided to parents through the StoryPark app and in-person.
Thank you ELC for taking care of my baby! Looking forward to many years together!
