Had our main floor renovated. The company did a fantastic job everything was done on time and on budget Would highly recommend this company.

************************, James R. is my neighbor brother. And that is the reason I am hiring him. He looks nice when first meet him, me and my wife mention what we are planning to knock down the load bearing wall and re-done entire first floor. He send us a quote and the total cost of the work to be done generally. And we pay him $20000 up front without the project starting. Long story short. One week after they start their work(tear down the first floor) and he ask for the money. I said to him I already pay him $20000 which more than what their work providing. He tell me they get pay by time not by work. And he is **** because he got my money, I pay him because he is my neighbor brother should be fine and I don't have experience deal with contractor. For the project almost $100000, everyday only had one worker doing take his time to the work basically only one man stay in my house being very slow process. Only the date he ask me for the payment will had more worker show up. Then they're all taking off right after I left. Basically 4 working days a week. When time fly by week by week, same issue again ask for money and no work being done. And the electrician come tell me I need a new fuse breaker which I already had one. it cost me extra $2500. And the electrician tell me my basement wire is not wiring properly in dangerous situation and have to be open entire ceiling to redone. James R. try to convince me to add on the basement work without get the first floor half finish yet. End up I got no choice because I am on their hook. And he said his company policy have to pay in full in advance which ever any additional work add on. It is being that unfair situation for 4 months keep paying him and only half of the job done base on the quote he give it to me. Finally he walk away without get the job done, but I already pay him $90000. I try to contact him and he said the reason they are walk away because I am not paying him. I have all evidence I already paid and his company receipt as well. I found out they are not temped to finish the job since day one that's why they want customer to pay them by time, because the last payment won't be settle until entire job finish. within the conversation James got lot of experience to scam customer, he know how much will cost us to put him in legal action. It is nightmare and you have to find someone to finish job then found out there is so many thing they're not doing right. *************************************************************** *************************************************************** ***
