I was in Vancouver from Vancouver island to collect a trailer. My electrical connection for the lights on my vehicle was totally broken and I was supposed to be on the ferry shortly. Roll in just a few minutes before the shop is due to close and Heinz installs a new electrical connection and saves the day. Fair price and good service. Very happy to have found this place.

Great work, they went above what I was expecting, installed and wired a brake controller that I brought in. I can tell that this is an honest shop that does good work. Will definitely go back for all my trailer needs.

These guys are the best. I highly recommend them for their technical abilities and their honesty. The father and son duo of Heinz and Martin found a solution to my issue that another shop was quite indifferent to. I'm new to this whole towing thing and had my hitch and electric brake control system installed at another shop (I wish I had come upon E&H sooner and I for sure would have used them for the installation). The original shop and I got our wires crossed on how high the ball mount should be in relation to the new camping trailer I was purchasing and as a consequence the ball was too low. I asked for a higher rise and they obliged. Once I got what I thought was the right ball height I hooked it up to my rig and it looked like it was too low and caused a V shape at the ball. My RAV4 towing vehicle's back end looked like it was bottoming out and the front was like a motorboat. I thought this was problematic since it is a front-wheel drive vehicle and this was with the trailer dry. I figured that once I load up the trailer (with a compartment just beside the tongue) and the back of the RAV4 then the tongue weight would be even greater and the weight being borne by the rear wheels even more pronounced. Once I had the ball on I towed the trailer to the original shop and shared my concerns. I never had the chance to speak with a technician and the front desk person seemed indifferent to my plight despite me having just dropped $1000 there. I read online about equalizer bars or air bags in the shocks to deal with the issues, but the folks at this shop were not particularly concerned. With this configuration, the RAV4 was bottoming out and it felt not completely stable. So I found E&H online and paid them a visit in South Burnaby. E&H is nowhere near as fancy-pants as the other shop, but as soon as I started chatting with Martin and Heinz I felt we would find a solution. I asked them about and equalizer hitch versus air bags and they explained the pros and cons of each. I decided to go with the equalizer hitch and Martin quoted me and ordered the hitch. I came back a few days and he and Heinz started to install it. Unfortunately, the mounts on tongue bar were too wide to fit between my propane tanks and batteries. My first thought was "Shishkabob, either I won't be able to get the equalizer hitch or I'm going to get hosed." Instead, they went into their shop to look for smaller mounts from previous jobs. Those mounts were also too big. Then, without batting an eye Martin took the two mounts and shaved off a half inch on one side with a metal cutter, and cut a notch on the other side. He painted both mounts and installed the equalizer hitch. The new hitch is lot more gear, but man what a difference. The back of the RAV is no longer bottomed out and the ride is WAAAAAY smoother. We can pack the front storage of the trailer and the back of the tow vehicle with the confidence the tongue weight not overwhelm the car. I doubt any other shop would have had the patience to deal with the questions of a newbie or been able to do the modifications immediately that they did. And they didn't charge me a dime more than they quoted. They do a lot of custom work so they're used to seeing non-standard set ups. I highly recommend E&H. They're honest, they're smart and they figure out solutions.

Rob and the guys have provided fast friendly quality service now for two of my vehicles. I would highly recommend them for your hitch & related needs. I would say they are one of the better product/service suppliers I have dealt with on the lower mainland. F. Britton

E & H have been recommended to me by Traveland RV. I have been very happy with their work. A professional team of two. Martin is an honest and straight forward person, he made good on his promise to return the equalizer in case it wasn't compatible with my rig. I had a refund no questions asked. Highly recommended.

I was having a very bad day dealing with a hitch issue instead of going on holiday, last August (sorry for the delay). Another hitch place helped me a lot but couldn't do what was needed, and referred me to Martin. This was a tiny job but he interrupted his work to fix this just so we could get on the road. After that, he taught me how to work the new trailer brake that I was struggling with. Fast, quality work, a price that was half of what I expected, and just a very decent, honest, knowledgeable guy to deal with. Thanks Martin!

Beware of if you are unfamiliar with hitches. My brother had E&H install a hitch in few weeks ago on a Rav4. Excellent job with a 7 pin connector and at a good price. I asked for the same for my Rav4. The guy on the phone said only a 4 pin is available. Also, I was quoted about $100 more. Okay, my bro did get a good price. I agreed. I was busy and my wife took the car to E&H. They provided a 4 pin connector dangling from the trunk. See photos of my brother's install and my install! Of all my trucks and cars, I have never seen such an incomplete job. I am not upset with the price. But please, take some pride in your work!!! It is embarrassing.
