I bought a Dyson V11 Absolute and have never been more disappointed. I have had this vacuum for a little over a year and I am on my third wand. The first one lasted about 6 month before the slide on plastic grooves broke off. I contacted Dyson and although they did replace the wand at no charge the customer service person seemed to insinuate that it was my fault not taking proper care of this machine. This wand lasted another few month before totally breaking off at the top, the only thing holding it together was the connecting wire. I tried to order a new wand from Dyson but they were out of stock. I did find a new wand at a vacc store for $68. First let me say that I do not believe that I am getting defective wands (on my 3rd one now) I think that the attaching top unit is defective because although they are new wands as soon as you snap them on they are already wobbly. I am sure that in a few months I will be searching for a 4th wand. As a retired couple on a fixed income this is unacceptable for us to buy new parts every few month. Although the suction on this vacuum is amazing, the quality is not. I will be in the market for a new vacuum in a few month and it won’t be a Dyson.

UPDATE After days of messaging with the support on WhatsApp, I received a replacement battery for free. Hope this one lasts longer. ORIGINAL My entire experience with Dyson is beyond disappointing. That includes both the product and service. Handheld vacuum breaks after 1.5 years of use. After contacting the Dyson customer service, I literally only get one message per day. Contacting them through email and they said we can give you a discount when you buy another product lol. I’m not gonna buy another Dyson ever! Stay away from them! Buy a brand with better product and better service.

I purchased a Dyson cordless Vaccuum V6 about 4 years ago. Haven't looked up the exact date because I've already spent hours on the phone at different times with problems. The first time was with the battery not charging any longer. I called and in the end, the company sent me another as it was close or just over the year warranty. The second was about 3 months ago when I found the beater bar stopped working. I purchased a new one. Now, this past week, being Jan/22, the battery stopped suddenly charging again. I purchased dyson for the high quality it is known for. I am so very disappointed that now after 4 yrs, I need to purchase another part for this machine. Even with the discounts they have offered for the part, it means I've spent just about the cost of the original purchase. A note I must add is that this machine has always been used with care and always cleaned.

Dyson vacuums are good until you need to get part replacement. I called Dyson on Jan 14 2022 to order part and I spent 1 hour on the phone with salesperson and when I called today to get status of my order Erica told me that my order wasn't placed and she will do again .For my part I have to wait 37 days to be shipped from Mississauga . I said I can go to pick up but apparently I cannot do that. I asked to talk to manager and again I could talk to manager too. What kind of business is this ? I will not recommend anyone to purchase Dyson products right now unless someone will buy new products all the time without replacing parts.

We purchased a refurbished V10 dyson, which the sales woman said was just as good as new. One year later (almost to the date) the brush head stopped turning so it barely picks up anything anymore. We did everything to try to fix it (watched all the troubleshooting videos etc) and can’t figure out the problem. Because it is now (barely) over a year old the Warranty is void. We are very disappointed in our purchase. Update: Dyson contacted us and sent us AN ENTIRE NEW VACUUM!!! Unbelievable service, we were astonished. Not to mention the guy on the phone was super nice. Thank you so much Dyson! So worth the money

I took my Dyson cordless vac in on Monday as it had several issues.. I was greeted by Shayan Khan who could not have been nicer. I explained the problems, he took my information and sent the vac to the repair area. He also then went over my choices regarding repair or purchasing a new machine. He was terrific and I decided to try the repair (complimentary) route. A day and a half later I have my vac delivered to my home and working perfectly. Great products and super service! Thanks Dyson!

My sister bought for us a DC24 in 2008 and we have been using that vacuum cleaner ever since. Never had any issues with anything! I was kind of hoping to replace it with one of those light weight compact cordless new model, but it's just working absolutely fine. Never imagined it would last this long! I will definitely buy another Dyson when it's time!

We purchased a V7 cordless vacuum August 2020 and by the next October it stopped working. I was offered either a new battery which was on back order or a replacement machine with remaining warranty. I chose the new machine and was told a box and shipping label would be sent to send mine to them for an exchange. After two phone calls the box arrived. I received an email a few weeks later stating my new vacuum was on it’s way and a tracking number was also given. Again a few more weeks I checked the tracking number and basically the vacuum was β€œlost”. The courier service investigated and couldn’t find it and instructed me to get in touch with Dyson so that Dyson could file an investigation with the courier company. I did this and Dyson told me to send them β€˜screen shots” of my email exchange with the courier company and also file a lost/missing with the police. I sent them the screen shots and proof that I had filed a complaint with police. They are still insisting on me sending them a permanent police report number which I will not get until the police get to my report which is probably one of hundreds they get from across Ontario. I almost wonder if they really did send a replacement vacuum or are they holding out until the warranty is up. I have never had such poor and frustrating customer service from a company. I will never buy another Dyson product and I will and am telling anyone I know about my experience. As an update to my review, I followed the advice of the owner to reach out to their Service Centre. I want to thank Shayan who was quick to respond was so helpful at remedying my situation in a manner beyond my expectations. After two months of pure frustration I am indeed a happy Dyson customer!
