★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ended up doing the connection of my fan the way it said in the manual and still am wondering what the other common wire is. I think maybe it should be connected with the 2 other white wires since when I test it my test light tells me it provides continuity perhaps it could be used to install another switch for the light somehow ?
