★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give Dutch’s campground a 10 star review I would. It is a beautiful campground nestled along a gorgeous stream that’s sounds lull you to sleep at night. The greenery and huge trees growing are almost surreal to look at, such beauty. I grew up camping and do a lot of it and I can’t say enough positive things about Dutch’s. The owner Raj is so incredible helpful and personable. The grounds are kept super clean, and the washrooms and showers are immaculate. My sister and I were camping alone with our kids for the first time pulling and setting up a trailer and Raj and his wing man/grounds keeper/jack of all trades Blair were so helpful. Honestly we wouldn’t have made it through the week if it wasn’t for them. Of course we ran into trailer problems being our first trip alone and we were never left stranded. Raj made sure we were taken care of and checked back everyday to ensure we were doing ok. The kids loved being able to explore and play, and everybody was so friendly. Kal beach is just right down the road and is a lovely beach with a beautiful multi use trail that goes around the lake. we used it daily, and saw tons of marmots, ducks, birds, scenery, and lilacs. We had such a great week and will definitely be back. Thanks for being such a great host Raj :) Keep up the good work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very impressed with the washrooms, very nice and very clean. Felt safe with security cameras on site and nightly walks from staff. The creek running through was so relaxing. I will visit again for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome vibe great owner. The campsite is cleaned daily, well taken care of from showers to bathrooms and garbage bins around the campsite. Great place to bring kids. Has a nice creek running through the site witch is nice when camping in a tent. Kids can swim and play all day witch was awesome and you can see them the whole time. Has power and water for rv units but the rv's stay in their own area separate from the tents. All in all great experience, I have recommended this place to a few people and more to come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not recommend this campground at all!!! Highly overpriced for what you get....the sites are extremely squished in. We can’t even open up our awning all the way or put our RV mat out. All I smell when sitting outside is our neighbours septic tank because we’re so close to them. He’s been staying here for months as he’s working here! The showers are creepy! Dark and dingy! I feel like I’m living with trailer park boys! Many people come to live in their trailers here for an extended period of time! This place is a rip off...
We will not be returning.....EVER!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great creek to enjoy out of the hot sun and away from the crowds (with exceptions of ducks!)
Right on the Rail trail, a 2 min walk to the beach… can’t ask for a much more convenient location! Bring chair and sit in the creek when it gets above 40C!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This camp ground is over 80 years old. Small but perfect spots on the River. New hydro bathrooms showers. About 10 people love all year round. Not many big rigs can fit, it was perfect for us. $50

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an awesome stay. However I believe we are camped beside the residents, they are very good camp nieghbors however there are times that they are using Marijuana and it smells, we have kids in our rv so its a little bit disturbing though.
We are parked beside the creek/stream and it was lovely, we can hear the gushing waters and ducks too :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so impressed with this site I had to share! I stayed cool in 45 plus temperatures in the beautiful stream and late night swim at the lake that is only 2 blocks away! The staff are always friendly and helpful. The campground, bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities are always kept clean and stocked. I recommend this little gem of a campground that took me completely by surprise and is close to everything.
