★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those of you stating that the place is closed, it has been open for over a month and they are trying to make phone calls to let people know this. It's being cleaned up. I have never had a issue with anyone working there and they have always been forward about everything.

If you are a woman with tools to sell drive to Nanaimo rather than deal with this guy, This is not the first time I have found this business extremely rude. My first experience was a while ago. I walked in and took a look at the tools and the man behind the counter told me that the "household and decorating stuff was over there". While I am female, I am an experienced carpenter and was insulted. I recently called to inquire if they dealt with a particular large item. If they did I was going to bring it in for him to see. He answered the phone - continuing his conversation with someone else so that I had to wait to find out if he was going to talk to me. He never did answer my question - he started to grill me about how much I wanted for it. I never did find out if he dealt with the item but was told that his 200 years of experience was more important that having manners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this place to get a loan on some stuff and paid my interest as per the agreement and when i went to retrieve my stuff there was a letter on the door from an insolvency trustee stating that their pawnshop had been shut down due to non payment of taxes. I was sick to my stomach and shocked as my stuff was worth around 1000$ . I had to deal with an insolvency trustee to retrieve my stuff. Totally not cool! I would not recommend dealing with this outfit at all! This place has been shut down and is no longer open for business
