★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a must visit if you are spending time in Port Hope. The coffee is great and they offer dairy alternatives. Their Crazy Cookies are amazing as are all the baked goods here. They have a great lunch menu too with some vegan and vegetarian options. As a Port Hope resident I go here almost daily and sometimes twice in a day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing to do with the food/service but definitely needs more staff. Constant line up of 15 people and only one employee working the cash and serving. Waited a half hour for a kiddie cone. Was one away from the front of the line when 4 customers that dined in were allowed to bypass the entire line to pay for their meals. Not a very efficient service system at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We popped in for a quick cup of coffee, and the smell was amazing! They had a variety of freshly made sweets and sandwiches, all of which looked delicious. We ended up getting a date square and sugar-cinnamon Danish, both of which were really tasty. Their coffee was also quite nice. It is located right in the centre of town, and is a lovely option for both sit-in and take-away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was wanting a sandwich and a drink. I stood beside the cash register and waited...and waited. The owner was preparing food for someone.He looked and saw me. Rather, he looked through me. No acknowledgement.I came and sat down and tried again. Same response. I was then asked to step out of the way for another customer. I sat down AGAIN in dismay without food or a drink. Another member of our group arrived. She went and ordered a coffee.The owner came up behind me and brought it and disappeared. Nothing about was there anything he could get for us.I was disappointed and disgusted.I left without any refreshments. Next time,I will bring my own coffee.Were it not for the fact that our group has chosen this place to meet, I would never return again.I guess when you’re old you’re invisible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars because 10 are not available. Amazing place to try almost everything on the menu. Pastries to coffees to ice cream, fantastic food. You will not be disappointed with anything. Very clean and comfortably large place with some excellent views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Those Crazy Cookies sell themselves and will compete for the best chocolate cookie you have had in your life. Service was fantastic. I showed up late, place was closed, and they opened up so that I could get my cookie fix to treat my coworkers to their favorite. Thanks again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can find many kinds of sweets. Also, their coffees are pretty good. It is very sweet as a small business. The cafe also provides self service. The decoration of the cafe is beautiful. Cheesecakes are delicious. The raspberry cheesecake was very different. when i go again i will try the chocolate desserts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely quaint and rustic little cafe and gift shop! I must visit if you are stopping in this area! They have a special cookie called "crazy cookie" which is a loaded cookie. Tons of desserts, ice cream and milkshakes! Their coffees were delicious too. Looking forward to coming back!
