Amazing photography. Really makes you feel like nothing else

This was something so totally out of my comfort zone. If you were to tell anyone who knew me that I was going to be doing a photo shoot with Dream Boudoir, I promise they would think you were joking. This was unlike anything that I had ever experienced. It was also nothing like what I had expected. Yes, I was extremely nervous and at the same time very excited. I was about to enter into an enviroment of total vulnerability with a total stranger. Upon arrival, after a quick introduction to Alishba, I was sat down and made ready to experience the luxury of having my make up and hair professionally done by one of there highly qualified artists. She was amazing. She could tell of my nervousness, and was every encouraging of what i was about to embark upon and was a great asset to helping me to relax and take it all in. This was my day, just for me, and I was going to savor every minute of it. After hair and make up. It was time to go through my outfits and choose 3 changes. I must have come with about 6 outfits, unsure of which one I was going to choose. But not to worry, Alishba, was very helpful with my desicion making and together we picked what turned out to be the 3 perfect outfits. The camera started clicking and I was instructed on how to pose and before I knew it, we were done and it was time to view the photos. When I saw those pictures, I was in disbelief of who that person was. It was me! A version of me I had never seen before. It literally brought tears to my eyes. The lighting, the angle and the beauty that was capture in those photos was utterly breathtaking. This experience changed me. With daily life being what it is, I really needed something. This experience far exceeded that something for me. I am so proud of myself for deciding to do this and highly recommend and ultimately wish for any woman to feel what I felt that day. I first contacted his photography studio to enter a contest that they had. I model professionally part time so I normally do not pay for photoshoots but I thought it would be fun to enter. This happened just before Covid hit. Starting in April during lockdown I started receiving numerous messages from this photography studio asking me to book. I was quite surprised they were booking photo shoot sessions during lock down at the beginning of a pandemic. I kept getting messages every couple of weeks from them until this past October when I had to ask them to stop because this was starting to become borderline harassment. Today on social media one of my friends that models part time as well posted about this photography studio and her really horrible experience. Her make up was done very poorly as well as her hair having part of it curled and part of it straight and the colours that she asked to have done we’re not done, And when she asked for her eyebrow pencil to be used she brought herself they refused and instead used an eyebrow pencil that was very unflattering for her. The photo shoot finished at 7 PM in the evening and at 9 PM she contacted the photographer regarding her terrible experience and asking about the photos which the photographer told her was being processed. As a model of many years I can tell you there is no way a photographer with hundreds to probably thousands of photos to process can do that within a couple of hours. When my friend asked to see her photos this photography studio told her she could not even see her photos until she made all of her payments. I know a lot of photographers and even if full payment isn’t made they can still allow their clients to see photos where they may be watermarked and might be unfinished (raw) and cannot be downloaded so that they can still preview them without trying to steal them. THIS IS WHAT TRUE PROFESSIONALS WILL OFFER. When my friend left a review on their Facebook page she put the pricing of the shoot in the review, as she saw many people asking about pricing... and it wasn’t even a negative review , and the studio actually took down the review. When I posted on their Facebook page with your most recent post asking why they were deleting reviews not completely positive, my comment was deleted and I was blocked from their page. I have worked professionally with many photographers and I can say with all honesty everything about this photography studio is super unprofessional from them taking bookings during lockdown in Canada and at the beginning of a pandemic to harassing customers over a period of months for their photography services to ripping off clients giving them a poor quality experience with poor quality make up, not allowing clients to preview their photos before full payment, and deleting reviews and comments that are not positive on their social media. I would highly not recommend this photography studio for many reasons. I can also assure you if you want to get boudoir photography done you can go to studios will give you an excellent experience and that will probably be cheaper than this photography studio, which can guarantee you outstanding results and professionalism through and through. No one should have to go through an experience like this with a professional photography studio.

She was amazing. I walked away feeling like a brand new person. All the self esteem issues I had going in was not what I had walking out. I felt so beautiful and so amazing inside and out. She made sure I was comfortable during my shoot and the overall experience was so amazing. I would for sure go again and recommend all my friends to go here as well.
