I cannot speak to the adult training, but Sir Marvin and team are absolutely excellent with children of all ages, striving to teach them self-control and respect. Their after school program is phenomenal offering local school pick-up, home work assistance AND an introduction to martial arts. If your child is also enrolled in focused belt level classes, they will be seamlessly transitioned from the after school program if requested (very convenient for parents on-the-go). This is a very community driven team, always willing to lend talent to local school fundraisers. They are true pillars of the community in Danforth East.

Sir Marvin is a wonderful instructor with a warm and friendly manner. He commands respect without scaring the kids, and he can give correction without demotivating the students. As Sir Marvin has plenty of experience in a variety of martial arts (I studied muay thai for years and his form is as good as any of my Krus), I like the idea that he can teach a variety of moves even outside of karate. The classes are fun for the kids. Most importantly, my son had issues with bullying at school and since starting with Dragonz, he has gained the confidence to stand up for himself without getting physical. We enjoy the virtual classes but look forward to seeing everyone in person again soon. ~Michelle Tang
G	George Zimmer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Man is the Second Largest Fraud in the Martial Arts Community, the Frist being his Aunt Veronica Desantos. (The Apple Doesn't fall fare from the Tree) I trained under Marvin back when he called him self Marvin Desantos, I trained daily gave it my all, I even stuck it out there when some unsavory behavior was occurring at the Dojang. I received my second degree back belt from "Sir" Marvin, and one day My best friend who trained at another School invited me to his Dojo for Friends and Family month, I was absolutely flabbergasted, I knew nothing in comparison to the students at the other Karate school, I was the Equivalent of a orange belt at best. I was Heart Broken and Devastated, My Parents were Shocked Appalled and Angry at them selves, as they were conned by Veronica and Marvin for many years. I can tell you from personal experience the quality of Martial Arts taught is that of paddy cake at these two Frauds schools. I immediately started training at my Friends Dojo, the Sensei's there were very accommodating, and willing to let me keep my rank as 2nd degree black belt, but I would have to work my way up from the bottom starting with training in white belt classes, after a long conversation with my parents I volunteered to start over as a white belt. best decisions I ever made. Please don't allow this smooth talking con man to take advantage of you or your family, if you sign up with him you might as well be doing cheerleading.

Sir Marvin is a fantastic teacher, he works his students hard but classes are fun and full of energy. He keeps everything upbeat with lots of positive energy and good music to get the best out of his students.

This dojo has been around since forever ad has contribute to the neighbourhood for years. I would recommend this dojo to anyone looking to enroll either as an adult or child

We also had his birthday there this year and it was so great! Sir Marvin's energy really kept the kids attention. The kids ranged in age (3-8) and experience and they all had a great time. I felt very happy with all of the covid safety protocol they used as well. I'd highly recommend this as a local birthday option!

My son has been going since he was 4, and has grown so much in his skills as well as his focus. Sir Marvin has a magical connection with the kids, and brings so much positive energy to the classes he teaches, it’s infective! I started training with kickboxing, but have fallen in love with the martial arts aspect of it. The mind body connection and physical fitness have helped my mind, mood and fitness! Especially during the COVID craziness, Sir Marvin and his instructors kept us moving online and moving back in person safely. The community he has built was able to help us stay safe and sane!
