Why is noone returning phone calls!!!!!!

Difficult to get appointments. MOA is not sympathetic at all.

Dr. Sundren Govender is one of the best physicians currently practicing on Vancouver Island. Highly recommend!

Dr Alec Walton is a horrible doctor do not go to him, would give 0 stars if possible. Would not prescribe me mental health medication which should be a crime. I went elsewhere and got them, truly unprofessional and uncaring.

I will state for the record I hate negativity and this is a last resort for me. We moved here from out of province and were very lucky to be accepted as patients of Dr. Govender, at least, so we thought. It was near impossible to get through to the clinic but I finally did and spoke with Sharon. We had already submitted forms for our file and I was just trying to schedule a meet and greet phone call as my son is on medication that was running out and we are only allowed to fill a month supply before the move. Sharon said she would call back with the appointment time the following day in the afternoon as it was so busy and near the end of the day. Fair enough! I waited the whole day and no call. I called the following day and she was off ill the day she didn't return the call so she had not had confirmation from Dr Govender yet so she would let me know the Monday. Again fair enough, waited most of the day Monday and no call. I called the office and got someone else who took my message and Sharon called me back. The Dr was working from his home office and still had not responded so she would get an answer and get back to me later. This didn't happen so I called and was very happy we got scheduled for a call Thursday afternoon with the Dr. The scheduled time past by. I waited 45 minutes since I know appointments can run long, still nothing. I called the office and Sharon said I was scheduled and he would call. Her tone wasn't great but that's fine. Well he never called. At this point I gave up! I was very disappointed in the service with this clinic! I do believe there is a serious Dr shortage in Victoria and I'm not placing all blame on the clinic but the lack of professional service and the missed appointment with ZERO follow up is very sad and inexcusable. Thankfully I got a completely different response with Dr Keeler, Young and McLurg. I know I am very fortunate to have found a Dr when so many are waiting but I thought this post was necessary.

All Dr. Govender cares is money, and he is just giving you pills for month or less so he can even charge u for any simple refills. He is the worse Dr. In Victoria. Stay away from him!
