My injury was minimal compared to what some other good people are going through, but I can say Dr. Nelson is an excellent doctor that provides realistic expectations for treatment and rehabilitation. I Appreciate it.

Cant say enough about how happy I am with the breast reduction surgery I had done. Feel like a new person. She is knowledgeable, very nice and explains everything. I would recommend her to anyone.

Don't book appointments while she is "on call". Waited 1.5 hours for "scheduled" appointment only to find out there is still 3 folks ahead of me and more depending on who came in. Really poor management.

I am not a client of this doctor, but my mother is. My mom had a mastectomy and this doctor put the expander in. There has been a worldwide recall on breast implants and expanders from Allergan (which is causing a lymphoma in patients) but my mom has not received a call about this NOR will this office share any information with her. It is a patients right to have access to her file and yet they “claim” they have no idea what is in her body. They have been giving her the run around for over two weeks and claim they don’t know anything and now they have to contact the hospital to try and figure out what this doctor put in her body. Why doesn’t this doctor have a file? As a person who survived breast cancer, you might imagine how stressful it may be to find out that a doctor has put something into her body that may bring about more cancer and yet they are sitting on this information and will not share it with her. Even if she has the brand in her body she needs to know so she can get it out of her. She has been to this doctor Numerous times complaining of severe pain and hardness (symptoms of this type of cancer) and it’s been public knowledge for longer than the recall so why hasn’t she looked into her issue more seriously?? I have encouraged her to contact the B.C. medical board and also a lawyer if she doesn’t have answers immediately but the fact that is even a conversation is unacceptable. I have cosmetic implants in and my surgeon answered me the same day and also stated it’s long been known that this Brand caused cancer and he refused to use them on his patients so my question is why would a surgeon knowingly put these into someone’s body (assuming she did - as we really have no answers) who has had cancer and at greater risk to get it again. I’m disgusted.

Dr. Nelson and her team are fantastic. As soon as I saw her, I knew I was in good hands. She was warm, relational, and reassuring. She took the time to listen and respond to all my questions and concerns. I totally recommend her!

Dr. Nelson did my breast reduction and I could not be happier. The entire process went so smoothly and I was so comfortable the whole time! Little to no pain, but that may be a genetics thing. I cannot praise her enough!!!

This doctor is amazing!! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, and underwent mastectomy, radiation AND chemo. Dr. Nelson did my reconstruction and it looks phenomenal! My breasts look better now than they did before! She is a real artist..... highly recommend her surgical skills and wonderful bedside manner :)

I called an hour prior to my appointment to check the waiting time as I had to wait 2 hours at my previous one. I was told that all appointments are canceled as the doctor had to go for a surgery which is totally fair. But I should have been informed from her office about the cancelation. What if I had traveled all the way only to find out about the cancelation. Of course, she's a great doctor but her office should be more responsible for other's time as well.
