Dr. Nazanin Narani

It's been almost 2 years since my first visit to Dr. Narani, referred by my Dentist. I go there every 3 month. Things were good in the first year, even though I lost one tooth, but my over oral health improved. The doctor was knowledgable, helpful, the front counter girl was very nice, Mandy is her name I think. The only thing make me a little uncomfortable is, every time I show up for my appointment, a different hygienist works with me, except one whom I've seen twice. The doctor will see me every 6 month for consultation and overall checkup. Sadly, it became bad and became worse. The last time I was checked by Dr Narani herself was a year ago, after that either she was busy or wasn't in the office. And since the front counter girl went one leave, their book keeper assumed the position, all she cares are 2 things, pay us and next appointment. To her, a session with doctor or hygienist are all the same I guess. So, for the past year, I was basically seen by 4 different hygienists, using a chart over an year old, two of them didn't even clean my "risky" tooth during the whole session. After I mentioned it, one's response was "oh, you are right, I didn't notice it (on the chart)", the other said "oh,ok, we will do it next time". ...... I lost another tooth last week ( it was a good tooth 2 years ago and even a year ago), I only wished I've switched Dentist a year ago or at least 6 month ago. Overall, to be fair Dr. Narani was a nice doctor and could be a good doctor. Sadly, looks like her focus is on the business instead of being a good doctor. BTW Since 4,5 month ago, they start offering people $25(or $20 maybe $30) coffee gift card if you show them that you left a 5 star google review. So don't get fooled by all those 5 stars review from the past couple month.

I have been a patient of Dr Narani's for 10 years or so. I have always been treated with very professional and kind staff. Dr. Narani did an excellent implant on my front tooth. I have also needed several gum grafts and all were successful.

Dr. Narani and her assistants were kind and informative at both my initial referral appointment and for my surgery. My gum surgery went well and again I was treated very well even being given a blanket to keep my legs warm! I was given very clear and specific after care instructions as well. Would highly recommend Dr. Narani and her staff!

I have been seeing Dr. Narani now for approximately ten years. I was initially sent to her for a consultation from my regular dentist. I have some issues with my gums. I now rely on Dr. Narani and her staff to maintain my oral health thru three to four month regular hygiene visits. I have had a number of grafts done by Dr. Narani as well over the course of the past ten years. I also see her once per year to make sure all is well and I am on the right track. I must say that Dr. Narani has excellent staff, very warm and friendly. Always a warm and friendly smile when I come to the office. I do have an issue with tardiness and this office is always on time. They take me in on time and and I am always finished on time. This is most important to me as I am a very busy women and my time is very valuable. Great job on that ladies! When I come in the afternoon the front staff always offers me coffee tea or cookies if I am early. In the morning they will even take me back if the back staff is still setting up for their busy day. Dr. Narani is the best at what she does. All of my grafts are excellent. I can't complain about anything that she has done for me. She is extremely professional explains everything in terms that I understand. She has a very gentle hand and is the best at freezing. They are so nice they even offer me a warm blanket when I am having treatment as I get a bit chilly when I have freezing. I very much appreciate all the little things they do for me. Dr. Narani is always available to speak with me in the event that I may have questions and her staff always call me to make sure that I am alright before going home for the day after I have had a gum surgery. I can't say enough good things about this office. If you are in need of gum treatment Dr. Narani would be who I would pick time and time again. You will be in excellent hands in this office I assure you.

Having done a gum surgery and a dental implant, I can say I had a comfortable and confident experience. It was a great experience that I've had at a doctors office. Empathetic staff, sweetheart doctor, and amazing surgical results. Best results. The procedure was well explained in advance so there were no surprises. The pain management was exemplary, to the point that I really felt no pain from the surgery, just some discomfort for a few days. The follow-up care was great, with the office giving me direct contact information in case I had any concerns or questions - which it turns out I did not. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and appointments were quick, efficient and friendly. My entire experience was so good that I would not hesitate to undergo such treatment again in this practice. Dr. Narani is an outstanding and experienced peridontist. I searched her and found out that besides her practice she provides teaching at UBC and engages in research. My experience with her surgery has been great. Her staff are highly competent and always friendly. I cannot recommend Dr. Narani highly enough - she is among the very best at what she does. She knows more than just a dentist! I forgot to mention that Dr Narani made me feel so comfortable and instantly took away any fears I had. Her nurse was amazing and I didn't even feel the IV!! I was able to get the gum grafts done under a light sedation which made the whole process very pleasant and I was amazed at what little discomfort I had following. She reviewed everything in detail and even gave us her cell number if there was any problems after hours!! This doctor is amazing and you can tell she really cares about her patients , I recommend her to anyone.

Great doctor and staff! I've had two sets of gum surgery with Dr. Narani and they both went smoothly without much pain, and no complications. The other staff are also really friendly and make you at ease during this somewhat scary procedure. They even phoned me later on when I got home, just to make sure I was okay. I hope I don't need anymore grafts, but if I do I'll definitely go back to Dr. Narani.

I had gum graft surgery done on 8 teeth by Dr. Narani. As unpleasant as the whole thing is (really wasn't even close to as bad as I'd expected it to be) Dr. Narani and her staff were a true pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. Dr. Narani has been called a sweetheart doctor by someone else in a review and I completely agree with that statement. She was extremely kind and patient answering all of my questions and giving me all the details that I wanted to find out. Her staff are also great and have tons of patience! Thanks Colleen and Mandy! I did have a bit of anxiety before the procedure so had lots of questions. They were patient through ALL of them. I feel completely confident in Dr. Narani's skills as not only did she come highly recommended by my dentist but her professional demeanor and ability to explain the process to me went a long way towards putting me at ease. I have just been back for my 3 week follow up visit and the results are excellent! If I had to get more serious dental work like this done again I would not hesitate to go to Dr. Narani and would definitely advise anyone I know (or don't know) to do the same.

She is one of the best surgeon.I had gum graft surgery with her.I had no pain and it went well.She and her staff are friendly. I am really happy for referring to Dr Narani and I will definitely come back to her for other surgries.
