★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very negative experience with Dr. Puts several years ago. Haven't been back to the clinic since that time.
I also had him in emergency at the hospital. He was obviously in a rush to leave as his shift was almost over. Both times he judged me based on his personal bias.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great doctor who spends actual time with his patients, is thorough and advocates for his patients. Dana at the front desk, deals with sick and frustrated people all day long, and she is professional and hard working. To comment at all that she shouldn't work with people is just rude, because if anyone else were in her shoes, they'd be a lot less tolerant than she is. Anyone would be lucky to have Dr. Marc Puts and his team in their corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Puts is great - the concern is his extremely rude and condescending receptionist. I cringe anytime I have to phone that place knowing I will need to deal with her. Being in customer service she needs to have an attitude adjustment. She is also incompetent, makes appointments without notify patients or books phone appointments without having a phone number on file?? She is clearly not happy with her career/life choices but shouldn't be the reason she takes it out on all her boss's patients.
Move on lady or get a better attitude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you have a receptionist that has rubbed so many people the wrong way that you're the only doctor in port alberni with less than a 3 star review you know there are some changes that need to be made!
Talking to Dana, that poor excuse for a customer service rep is patience obliterating! And -if- I ever see Puts again I will be going out of my way to make sure he's aware of her snappy tude.
