Great professional Dr Kells and staff???

I find Dr. Leah provides a good service and I experienced a good Doctor patient relationship.

I don't typically leave reviews, but after some careful deliberation, this experience needs to be told! Upon my initial appointment, everything started off well! Very cordial staff upon entering. I then met Dr. Kells who was very pleasant with me and we shared a few laughs. Typical stuff, right? But when she checked my gum area with her instrument, I nearly went through the roof and my pain filled yell let her know! However, in saying that, she did not utter one word! I mean NONE! No, "Im sorry!" "Are you alright?" NOTHING!!! Now prior to this, I saw another dentist across town and he did the same exact procedure, but the difference was, he didn't do it like he was spearing a piece of steak and he did what most professionals should do, "He said he was sorry!" At the time, I did not say a thing to Dr. Kells and was willing to let it slide! But, due to family responsibilities, I have had to cancel and reschedule a few times. I have always been well aware of their 2 day notice and may have fallen short on one, but when I went to reschedule this last time, I was told (by the receptionist) that due to all my cancellations (which I was told I did not give ample notice) I would have to pay a $100.00 NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER!!! The receptionist claimed that they "lost business" every time I cancelled??!! I call BULL S**T on that claim!! Anyway, I calmly said I would think about it and never went back! There was NO Compassion or Empathy for what I was going through? I had a very sore mouth and I wasn't cancelling because I wanted too, it was out of need for my Mother! I am an hour out of the city as well! In closing Dr.Kells, who appears as if she has been practising for sometime, should not need to be told how to conduct herself in regards to her interpersonal skills with her patients, but maybe a Refresher Course could be in her near future? The One Star is for the STAFF, who were Extremely Cordial and Engaging! They could very well Write the Book on, PROPPER DENTIST OFFICE PROTOCOL! Dr. Leah Kells, Not So Much!

Very friendly, comfortable experience. Dr. Kells seems to go over and above to make sure you’re comfortable and the whole team makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend them.

Super happy with everything. My 12 year old son needed gum surgery, and we were both extremely nervous about it. Dr. Kells are her staff were very kind and reassuring. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the assistants, to Dr. Kells, were friendly and accommodating. The procedure was done with care and compassion. Highly recommend.

After 3 surgeries in the past 1.5 years I couldn’t have asked for anything better from Dr. Kells and her staff! Very personable and each procedure was surprisingly quick and painless. Highly recommend =)
