Dr Brown is so good!

One cannot find a better doctor.

Dr. Scott was completely disrespectful. The doctor misgendered me numerous time including in the letter sent back to my GP. Additionally when corrected Dr. Scott was rude and dismissive. I would avoid seeing this doctor.

The secretary Genevieve is total incompetence with a capital I. When I had an ultrasound on my thumb in the spring of 2020 Genevieve was supposed to set up an appointment with a hand specialist for me. Forward 15 months later. My family was dumped by Dr. Brown because in the letter we received she stated she was leaving her practice for personal family reasons. My family later found out that Dr. Brown was not leaving her practice, but in fact only keeping her 75 and older patients. The letter we received was not truthful. I ended going to a walk in clinic because my hand has gotten to the point where I can't write, type, turn a key or do anything simple. This is my dominant hand. The walk in doctor at the clinic told me to follow up with Dr. Brown's office because it's their responsibility to continue with this problem I have with my hand. When I called the office last August 2021 the response I got from Genevieve was shocking. I told Genevieve what the walk in clinic told me and I stated to Genevieve that I have not heard from the hand specialist yet. Her response was I just referred it NOW. WHAT??!! I made it clear to Genevieve that had I not have called Dr. Brown's office at the direction of the walk in doctor I would have still been waiting. She screwed up really bad. No apology or anything. I called the hand specialist and she told me that the wait to get an initial consultation with the specialist is 3-6 months. I called Dr. Brown's office again and Genevieve was extremely rude and said maybe you can get in on a cancelation. WRONG ANSWER!!!! Here I am 9 months later still waiting. The hand specialist don't answer the telephone and make it quite clear to not leave a message if I am waiting on a referral. The specialist does a triage to see the most severe patients first. I have waited 9 months. During this time I have very little use in my right hand. All of my fingers are barely useful. For me to type this little review has taken over 2 hours. How is this not urgent. I did go to the hand therapy clinic and the the therapist couldn't believe the state of my hand. I now have a splint while I wait for this appointment. I truly believe that if Genevieve had done her job I would obviously not be writing this review. The sad thing is that I wonder how many of Dr. Brown's past patients have been affected by an incompetent secretary. Genevieve, you used to really good, but maybe you should find another line of work. Yes, this is a harsh review. I guess I feel as bad about my review as you felt bad about screwing up getting me in with a specialist 15 months after you were supposed to. Not very.
