★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Approx 5 years ago my mother had raised concerns that she had experienced some bleeding, but Dr. Woo assurred her this was no concern. Some time had elapsed and after my mother had insisted, he agreed to examine her and subsequently identified the bleeding was due to cervical cancer. During our appointment he believed there was little we could do for her, considering her age at the time. We were nevertheless referred to a gyno oncologist who managed to successfully treat her.
This is our story of how this man failed miserably to help my mother navigate through her illness. Regardless of whether this was a lapse in judgement, Dr. Woo's lack of attention forced our entire family to endure the pain, anxiety, and depression caused by the treatment. To top it all off, our gyno oncologist questioned why Dr. Woo thought this disease was not treatable. It's abundantly clear, Dr. George Woo, you should stay in your lane or get off at the next exit!
